William slipped his allowance into his pocket with a sense of purpose.

"Don't sweat it, buddy. I'll have someone take you to the hospital. And hey, if anyone ever gives you a hard time, just hit me up. I'm like... the leader of the Anti-Bullying Brigade.”

He made up the title on the spot.

The wide-eyed kid looked at him in awe. “Are you that awesome as a kid?"

Soon enough, the ambulance arrived, and William called a bodyguard to escort the kid to the hospital.

He felt good about helping someone in need.

Meanwhile, Aurelia and Leopold were at the ice cream parlor, waiting for them.

William came back and didn't say a word. He sat down and started shoveling ice cream into his mouth.

"Skyler, this lemon sorbet is amazing,” William commented between bites.

"I'm a fan, too," Skyler added, licking his lips.

"What took you quys so long?" Aurelia asked nonchalantly.

The bodyguard chimed in, "We saw a kid getting picked on, and Mr. William and Mr. Skyler stepped in to break it up. Dylan took the kid to the hospital.”

Aurelia’s eyes widened slightly, and she exchanged a glance with Leopold. "Was it bad?"

"Those bullies were brutal. The kid might have a concussion,’ the bodyquard said. “Juvenile delinquency is a tough issue to crack.”

Aurelia shrugged. "The penalties are too soft, letting these little thugs run wild"

The chunky bully and the lanky bully were going at it on the beach, fists and feet flying, landing blows that would swell eyes shut, break noses, and even bite off ears, yet neither would back down. The security team finally arrived and managed to separate the two.

Just then, Aurelia and the others, done with their sweet treats, were heading to the beach to play. Seeing the two bloodied fighters loaded into an ambulance, she quickly covered William's eyes. But William wasn't scared. He saw Skyler stamp their hands.

He thought it must be some Superman justice.

"Those two bullies beat up a kid earlier and gave it to him. The kid's in the hospital now. And then they turned on each other. What kind of families were these kids from?" a bystander told a cop. Aurelia overheard and glanced at her son, who was cool as a cucumber, sucking on a lollipop like he was front row at a show.

"Skyler, let's build a sandcastle! I'm good at it."

They found a clean stretch of sand and sat down to build their fortress

"Skyler, do you know what you call it when they fight like that?"

Skyler replied, “William, you once said that letting the bad guys live to face punishment is more meaningful than... letting the reaper take them. I've been sleeping on it, and I think you're right.
