"It's possible.” Leopold nodded slightly. He had reached out to a renowned hypnotherapist abroad and would soon have answers.

Leopold pinched her cheek playfully. "Not everyone is susceptible to hypnosis. Kids under six, for instance, can't be hypnotized.”

She pouted. "Still, we can't be too careful. What if someone close gets hypnotized? They might target someone you'd least expect. I should beef up the security at Blossom Villa.”

A thought struck Aurelia as she spoke, and she added, “When you meet the hypnotherapist, ask him how one can avoid getting hypnotized.”

Her pride was still smarting, and she wasn't in the mood for an extended chat with him.

The thought of him making out with Megan left a sour feeling as if she was overwhelmed with jealousy. And she wouldn't put it past him to spend the night with Megan, under the guise of protection.

“We should take a break this weekend. Invite Skyler, and we'll go on a little getaway”
