In the restroom of the Aurora Club, Evelyn could hear Kevin's voice. She knew Leopold had arrived. She quickly popped a half pill into her mouth and swallowed it whole.

“Leo, is that you?” She opened the door, stumbling out in a daze.

Seeing Leopold, she lurched into his arms, her arms coiling around his neck, “Leo, I'm burning up. I feel awful. Help me!”
