Leopold casually slipped his arm around Evelyn’s shoulders. An unexpected wave of emotion washed over Evelyn. This was the first time they had such intimate contact.

“Auntie, your timing is impeccable. I brought Evelyn here today to announce our engagement. I've discussed it with my mother and we“re planning to have the engagement ceremony after Christmas.” His voice was deep and clear.
