Aurelia got a piece of fried chicken for Laura, “Marriages that last a lifetime are becoming scarce, you know. Just the other day, Ella from HR Department got divorced. Rumor said that her husband had an affair and she caught him red-handed.”

She let out a wry chuckle, a hint of mockery in her eyes, “Most men can’t seem to keep their pants zipped. Rich or poor, they're all the same.”

Leopold, who had always been a man of restraint, was not amused.

"Could you show some respect for the man sitting right here?”

Aurelia pulled a face, then quickly shifted to flattery, “Mr. Leopold, you're not just any man. You're a god

among men, a diamond in the rough. Out of billions of men worldwide, there are no more than ten like you. You're rarer than a four-leaf clover.

Leopold raised an eyebrow, amused. Flattery he could tolerate.

"You have a good eye.”

"As a designer, it's my professional duty. Men like you, flawless and divine, are hard to come by.” Leopold glanced at her sideways, a wicked smirk on his lips, “Then why don’t you try harder?” Aurelia took a bite of her steak and grinned slyly, “Our values don't align. I like men who are submissive, and you like women who are submissive. If we were together, wouldn't it be dealing with a dead bedroom every day?”

She suddenly stopped. She had used the wrong metaphor. A dead bedroom was more indicative of a low quality of S**ual life...

She quickly dug into her dinner, hoping that the boss hadn't caught her slip up...

Leopold, of course, had.

“What kind of woman do you like then?” She asked, feigning innocence.

Leopold himself wasn't sure, but he liked lively, quirky, talkative women; it made things less dull. A woman with courage, intelligence, and a bit of cunning was also appealing. He didn't fancy the naive ones.

Aurelia was certain he was thinking about Megan.

She knew she was asking a loaded question. Of course, he liked Megan.

“You're a god among men, so naturally, you'd like a goddess. A perfect goddess beautiful, voluptuous, dignified, understanding...”

Leopold shot her a look, wouldn't such a template woman be rather boring?

“Are you a mind reader?”

“All men like that kind of woman.” She stuck out her tongue. This was the ultimate fantasy of countless

men.

Leopold pinched her chubby cheek, “That's other average men, not me.”

She choked, grinning sheepishly, “Right, right. I was being shallow.”

She couldn't help but be curious about what kind of woman Megan was. She surely wasn't like Evelyn who was scheming.

Judging by her photos, Megan seemed very gentle and quiet. She must be like gentle moonlight, beautiful as a fairy.

Leopold picked up another piece of chicken, placing it on her plate. Even eating couldn't keep her chatterbox mouth shut. Without her by his side, he found the silence oddly unsettling.
