Kane got the hint and followed Susanna across the room.

The Smiths were waving him over. They were long-tneighbors and often held barbecues together, sharing a bond as tight as

family.

William, sensing Kane's potential discomfort, quickly introduced himself to Susanna, "Hi, Susanna. I'm Keith, William's brother.

Great to meet you."

"Hi, Keith," Susanna replied with a friendly smile, and they all went over to greet Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Kane would have struggled

without William's assistance.

Leopold was unfazed by his son making online friends. After all, he was a whiz with computers.

But William's rapport with Susanna seemed unusual, almost as if they were more acquainted than Kane was. Could William also be

one of Susanna's online pals?

Skyler, sitting beside him, sipped on his juice, also sensing something off.

Why did William call himself Keith? When Susanna had greetings, it had caught Skyler off guard.

After all, William had grown up abroad and had many friends there.

Usually, online friends didn't greet each other so warmly when meeting in person.

Nina, bobbing her head to the music, said, "I've got online friends too. I even run a fan club group."

"I know, it's the fan club for Avery Hawthorne," Mira teased, sticking out her tongue playfully.

Nina covered her mouth, giggling. She planned to take advantage of the school break to create more content for her fans.

After exchanging pleasantries with Susanna's parents and asking about their hotel, William decided he would reveal his true

identity the next day, inviting Susanna's family to tour Elysium as a proper host.

Following a hearty meal of pizza, they returned to the Stirling Mansion.

The kids were soon tucked away in their rooms.

William patted his chest in relief, "Man, that was close. I thought for sure we'd be busted."

Thankfully, their quick thinking had saved the day.

"Do you think Uncle Leopold suspects anything?" he asked.

Kane stroked his chin, "Dad seemed cool about it. No suspicions, I guess. I told him she's just an online friend."

William exhaled, returning his excitement, "I can't believe Susanna's here in Elysium. This is awesome."

"You must miss your friends back in Goldstone," Kane remarked.

Nodding, William said, "Yeah, I do. I worry they'll forget aboutif they make new friends."

Kane clapped him on the shoulder, "How about next summer we both head to Goldstone? We can ask Mom and Dad to take us. I'd

love to see where you used to live."

Though only older by half an hour, Kane always played the role of the protective older brother.

"Sounds good," William agreed.

Meanwhile, in another room.

Leopold was peeling an apple for Aurelia when he casually inquired, "Did William have snickname, such as Keith?"

"Nope, why do you ask?" Aurelia responded without a second thought. The children's names were no secret, clearly stated on their

passports.

A sharp glint of suspicion flashed in Leopold's eyes.

William! Susanna had shouted William today.

He was certain it was William. Perhaps it was an online alias that coincidentally matched William's?

Why had William lied about his nbeing Keith? Was that an alias too?

One thing Leopold was sure of was that Kane had never met Susanna before. If Kane had gone to meet an online friend, Leopold

would have known.

Even if Kane had ventured out alone, his bodyguards would have reported back to him.

But this was Susanna's first visit to Elysium, making a prior meeting impossible.
