"Ever caught a glimpse of your boss?" Aurelia asked.

Lisbeth nodded, "A few times," she replied casually.

"What does he look like?" probed Aurelia, her curiosity piqued.

Lisbeth let out a wry chuckle, "He is always behind a mask. No one has seen his real face." Aurelia sank into thought. If Geoffrey and Skyler were identical twins, what was the point of the mask? What he did only gave himself away.

"Here's the scoop I've managed to dig up. Your boss goes by the nGeoffrey, Skyler's twin brother. At least, he claims it.

Chances are that he's a dead ringer for Skyler. If you spot that face, make sure you figure out who you're dealing with." Lisbeth's heart skipped a beat. The boss was Skyler's brother? That was a twist she hadn't seen coming.

"Doesn't that make him Leopold's cousin? Then why would Geoffrey want to..." Lisbeth trailed off, grappling with the implications.

"Want to off Leopold, right?" Aurelia curled her lips into a sardonic smile. "Letdrop another bombshell on you. He's not Leopold's cousin but his half-brother with the sdad. That goes for Raines too." "What?" Lisbeth gasped, her eyes wide with shock. "He's a member of the Stirling family?" No wonder someone had infiltrated Raines’ daily life. It was a classic case of deception, a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Aurelia scoffed, "What he's after is the head seat of the Stirling family, but that's a pipe dream. The Stirling family would never acknowledge him, let alone let him take the reins." Now Lisbeth got the picture. It was all an internal Stirling family feud, a real snake pit.

"So Geoffrey has been parading someone around as Raines for his own gain." Aurelia clapped her on the shoulder, "I'm telling you all this because you're Raines' wife, my Lisbeth. You're one of the Stirling family." Lisbeth fell her gaze, her lush lashes casting sorrowful shadows on her fair skin.

"I've deceived Raines and put him in the harm. He'll never forgive me." "After all, you were forced into this feud. As long as you can help out Raines and Elfreda with us, I believe Raines will forgive you." Aurelia comforted.

Lisbeth sighed, "Have you ever remembered the divination of Beverley? I have no happy ending with Raines. We might part forever in the end." "Out of the depths of despair comes life. Divination can hint at what's to come, but it's us who hold the reins of fate. If we're careful and play our cards right, we can turn the tide," Aurelia consoled her.

Encouraged by these words, Lisbeth would do anything if Raines could forgive her.

That evening, Aurelia returned to the Stirling Mansion.

Leopold wrapped an arm around her, "You must be exhausted, honey. Take a break from the office, a month off. We'll talk when you're feeling up to it." His main worry was her safety. The enemy knew Aurelia was Leopold’s Achilles’ heel. Any threat to her was a direct hit to him.

Aurelia understood and didn't enjoy living on the edge. She patted her still-flat belly, "Fine, I'll work from home. After the first trimester, I'll head back to the office. I won't give certain people the satisfaction of seeingdown." Fiercely loyal, Aurelia would haunt her enemies as a vengeful ghost if she had to, dragging them to hell to experience eternal torment.

"Lisbeth said she's never seen Geoffrey's face either. In the AK Group, I bet only Tanya has seen him." Aurelia paused, her eyes looking sharp under the lights, reflecting a deep and unwavering resolve.
