The Beta and Her Omega / Old Version ✔️
Five | A Confession Without A Confession

Xenia rolled her neck, her muscles already stretched as she eyed her component. His body showed every weak point that she could hit before he made his first move. His fist flew towards her face as she ducked and kicked his gut, causing him to grunt and step back but she did not stop there.

His body hunched over she grabbed his head and smashed her knee into his face, his nose breaking in seconds before she punched him and grounded him completely. Huffing in boredom as she had not broken a sweat before turning to a pale Vincent. “Maybe he was not a great example.”

“Y... you just k... killed him.” Vincent stuttered, backing away a few steps while he stared at the body on the ground.

Xenia raised an eyebrow, turning to look down at the unconscious man before shrugging. “He is fine. Just unable to fight like a man.”

Vincent went to respond but closed his mouth, something that Xenia has noticed a lot within the first twenty-four hours of knowing him. It would be hard to adjust, being able to walk freely with no responsibilities. He must be bored, completely, and utterly bored.

"Xenia, how about we show him around the Pack? He is not ready to train yet.”

The sudden voice of her wolf spoke through. The soft-spoken wolf of herself caused Xenia to pause and nod in agreement. ”I think you are right Lola."

"I am always right!"

Chuckling at Lola’s responses, Xenia faced Vincent again who was currently still eyeing the unmoving man on the ground. “Come. I will show you around.”

“What... what about h... him?” He questioned; his eyes full of concern. “H... he needs medical a... attention.”

She sighed, mind linking some of the Pack nurses before they appeared and began to work on the guy she had beat up. Raising her eyebrow up as if to ask if he was satisfied before walking away. Vincent slightly pouted behind her as she showed him around.

“This is where the warrior’s train. As you already know from this morning, every warrior and or trainee trains here.” She spoke while gesturing towards the hundreds of men and women fighting it out either in human form or wolf. “As you can tell, they do this every day, all day. We pride ourselves for being the most lethal and deadly towards our enemies but sometimes we have an overconfident asshole who ends up being taken down by yours truly.”

She then began to take him around their own little town. Shops and houses littered everywhere as they walked the concrete paths, the trees coming closer as she smirked. “Now for my favourite place.” She announced before they came across a bridge. Rushing water down below as they began to cross “We are coming up to the Werefox territory. They are aware of our presence, so it does not matter if you ignore being polite, they usually stick to themselves.”

“I... Ignore?” Vincent stuttered his question with a frown, his eyes surveying her as she casually walked across the bridge with no care in the world. “W... Why do t... they live s... separately to the P... Pack?”

Xenia smiled, the memory of what they had done for her and her family coming back to her in waves as they crossed the bridge and followed the path. “I was about ten years old and decided to make Alpha Zander and Jack follow me outside of the border. That was a stupid idea, yes but it was fun at first.” She chuckled, ducking under a branch as her eyes landed on the small huts and people casually living their lives. “Rogues attacked us and funnily enough, April was one of those rogues. She was too young to understand that she was there to kill us, not play with us but somehow out of luck, we were all saved. A group of Werefoxes were roaming around and heard the commotion because they saved both the future Alpha and Beta of the Pack, they were welcomed in to live with us and so was April.”

Vincent fell silent, so silent that Xenia turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow. His expression was confusing as she tried to read him. He was the most difficult person she has ever tried to read and that pissed her off to a high extent before he finally looked at her and widened his eyes as he realised that she had already been staring. “Y... You are the B... Beta?”

“That is correct, yes.”

“B... By birth r... right?”

She frowned. “Yes?”

Vincent nodded, his eyes looking away from her as he observed their surroundings. “Then... then we w... were mated b... by mistake.”

Xenia’s eyebrows rose, her eyes looking away as she slowly nodded. “Perhaps.” She agreed, his startled jump nearly made her smile, but she wanted to be serious for her next statement. “Whoever or whom-ever has decided to get into your head needs to know that what is mine will forever be mine. I do not care about strength, rank, or even gender. If I am designed to be a part of you then I will be a part of you no matter what. I might not know what happened to you, but I do know that things will change and you, my dear mate, will soon be the mightiest, strongest warrior that I will train and create.” She then turned towards him and smiled. “I am not doing it because I am your mate. I am doing it as your Beta and as a friend.”

Then she turned and left, his stunned body completely frozen in place as she walked with a deep glare.

That bitch was going to pay.
