The father and daughter froze, terrified at the presence of Alpha Nick and the cold sound of his voice, beads of sweat formed on their foreheads.

Alpha Gaius thought once more. Alpha Nick was young enough to be his son but due to a simple mistake, he lost face in the sight of the young man.

"What are you talking about?" Alpha Nick asked, pretending that he did not know.
With Alpha Nick's expression softening even in the slightest, the father and daughter fell for the trap that he knew nothing about the marriage.
