At the River Bed pack. Alpha Ansaldo's driver packed the car and went around to open the door for him. Getting out. he then went around and opened the door for Bree.

It was already night, so the pack house was quiet with only a few warriors around. They stared at Bree curiously but did not dare to ask their Alpha about her presence in their pack. "Welcome to your new home. I hope you like it?”

"Nick, you arrived on time. I just married Abilene, the daughter of Alpha Gaius from the East Red Pack, for you."

He was talking to his father as if Abilene did not exist or was not standing in front of him.
