Chapter 5

For the first time in my life I was happy to go to school. All because of one name, Liam letters, one syllable.

Liam

It was enough to make my heart stop

"Miss Summer, can you repeat what I just said?" my home economics teacher said

I woke from my daydream.

Busted

I stood up but didn't say a word. All eyes are on me and that's like 50 pairs of eyes. She got the point.

"Sit down but please try to listen”

"Yes ma'am”

The bell rang.

I got out of class and went to my locker. Someone pecked me from behind. It didn't take a genius to know who it was.

"Hi" Liam said

"Hey" I smiled at him

"I wanna take you somewhere”

Before I could protest, he dragged me to his car. I had no idea where we were going to.

After a while, we arrived at a deserted place

"Um Liam, if this is the part where you kill me tell Mason I love him’

He just laughed

"We're here"

We both got down. I followed him inside.

It was a dark forest but as we walked in further, the more beautiful it got.

I gasped when we reached its centre

You could hear birds chirping, squirrels running around and the sun illuminated the trees. It was like all those fairy tale hideouts.

"You like it?" he asked me

"Yes, its so ...breathtaking”

"Good"

"How did you find this place?"

He shrugged

"I love to get lost sometimes when running in my wolf form. I ran and saw this place one day" "Whoa"

We stayed in a comfortable silence just taking in everything

I looked at him expectantly

"Why are you looking at me like that?" He asked

"i Was expecting you to say something cheesy like I've never brought anyone here before" I air quoted the last part.

He chuckled. It sounds like music to my ears.

"This is where I come to run. It's very free"

He came closer. I moved back until I hit a tree

He put his two arms on the tree trapping me in between them

"You're so beautiful"

He picked me up and closed the space between our lips

I wrapped my legs around his waist, my hands in his hair playing with it. He leaned me against the tree.

The kiss turned desperate ..like we couldn't get enough

My lips were his now. It was so obvious

I don't know how long we made out but when we were done were both breathing heavily

"Wow" he said

"That was..."

"Amazing" he completed my sentence

"Let's go back to school”

I would have loved to stay here with him but what if one of the teachers noticed I was missing and reported me to my dad.

I'd be dead... Literally

He put me down and we walked down to the car

The drive back to school was silent.

Not an awkward one but it was rather comfortable. We were both lost in our own thoughts. When we arrived at school, Liam got down and opened my door for me. He intertwined our hands as we went done the hallway.

People started whispering. I'm pretty sure my lips were swollen from all the kissing we did. I smiled as i replayed the scene again in my head. I had a flutter in my chest each time i thought about it. "What are you thinking about?" Liam asked

"Us" I blushed

He smiled in content.
