I was sitting near Kathy in the pack hospital. There was my mate lying lifeless with a drip inserted in her. I looked for tears but I couldn't find any

No matter how much I wanted to cry I just couldn't. I don't know why. That's how much it hurt me. Who could have done this or was it attempted suicide? Its been two days. Two days since I spoke to my mate and it looks like she might not make it

My chin was on my clasped hands on my lap just staring at her blinking as I heard the tap of the drip dripping from the bag into her body

Tap tap tap tap

The familiar rhythm went on and on in my head. It continued until Cheryl, Peter, my dad and Derek came in

"Alpha we're really sorry’ Derek said

"Who did this?" I asked softly and sternly at the same time. I felt Ben creeping out slowly

"Uh, I think I'll go now" my dad said before leaving

Now it was only Peter, Derek and I

"I won't ask again” I growled "who fucking did this!?"

Peter scratched the back of his neck while Cheryl was in tears

"She tried to commit suicide, from what we know it was because of Stephanie, Beth, Patricia and Beth”

Ben came out completely and this time I didn't try to stop him

"I WANT THEIR BLOOD" Ben growled. I stood up

I was still in human form but my canines were out

"We tried to find them but it seems their gone”

"GET OUT! All of you! You're all useless!"

When they all left, I sat back down looking at Kathy. I swear to the moon goddess if anything happens to my mate, they'd never breathe again

After what seemed like forever, Doctor Angela came in

"Good day alpha”

"Hi Angela”

Ben had calmed down now.

"I'll give her an injection after a while she'll wake up"

I nodded. She went over to Kitty and did whatever it is that doctors do

"That'll be all" she said "she'll be fine"

"I hope so" I muttered

"I'm sure she will"

"Thank you so much”

She smiled and left.

I just sat there not moving, not talking but watching and waiting for my kitty to wake up.
