Chapter 39

Alexander's POV

As I stepped foot inside the dungeon, I was met by their disgusting growls and snarls. It was sickening to hear and made me want to lash out at every single rogue that was here! My wolf was raging inside me pushing me to the edge of fury.

I roared contemptuously toward them. Feeling all the strands of hair unto my skin all rise from anger. The raving anger gnawing its way through my system, consuming my heart with darkness. The beast in me is lividly outraged clawing its way out to put down these filthy fucking rogues!

And I didn't stop him!

My body shakes in fury, eyes fully dilated with anger. My claws extend. Taking a step inside the cells, the rogues step back as I walk toward them. I harshly grab the rogue infront of me and furiously hurl him against the hard wall. One of the rogues venomously snarled at me.

"You are a worthless King! You don't deserve to be called the Alpha King!"

His fellow rogues uproared behind him.

I glared at them viciously and summon one of the guards and ordered it to get me a whip.

Not just an ordinary whip. It's a whip that's made of strong and thick ropes coated with wolfsbane.

He handed me the wip and I smiled darkly.

One of them who had spoken to me snarled again.

"What? You're going to torture us with that thing?" He spat right infront of my feet "You are a coward King! Don't have the power to kill us with your claws?" Then he looks behind him chuckling at his fellow rogues and they all laugh at what he said.

I gripped my hands tighter at the whip.

They have the guts to disrespect me as their Alpha King!

Their insults really getting on my nerves. My anger now is on high that I can't no longer stop myself to let out the fury that heavily weighing down on me.

"I AM YOUR ALPHA KING!" I roared.

Then the whip rapidly sweeps down to him. I recklessly swing the whip again, this time hitting the rogues behind him.

I can't no longer wait to execute their fucking lives infront of the kingdom!

I will end them now! Their existence is no longer needed in this world!

They have to fucking die now!

My wolf viciously growled again. We are both fuming in great anger.

I swang the whip again unto them and lashed it again and again until their wails and shriek covered the whole place.

The guards behind me were wired up and were all timidly watching how I ruthlessly struck at this fucking rogues!

The anger flowed out of me. My heart thumped heavily inside me. And I didn't stop myself from continuously lashing out the whip unto them. Until they all sprawled down on the floor, blood everywhere.

And I was also covered in blood.

Their filthy blood!

And my wolf viciously loves it. He loves the blood that trickles down our skin, the heat of it made us want to suck all their blood out of their body!

I don't care what the guards think of me now, for I am the Alpha King!

No one can stop me to do this! I can do whatever I want to these fucking rogues! They are just a thrash and a pest in this kingdom! They all need and they deserve to die!

A wicked smile curled up at the side of my mouth. Hearing their cries makes me feel more alive. Their wails of agony bring music to my ears. And my wolf felt the power we have over them.

I took a step at one of them and heavily stomped my foot on its body. I heard him groan in pain as I twist my foot and weigh it down with more force. Crushing his bones.

"You are still... no-not our King!" Said the rogue beside it. I look down at him, he's one arm is missing. His skin was all torn and ripped. Blood dripped down his face. His whole body was covered with thick lashes.

My nose flared upon hearing what he said. More fury bubbled up in me. The hatred I felt towards them grow more intense, my wolf roared in so much fury.

All I see now is red!

Only red!

I will make sure you will all bleed to death!

I reach down on him, grasp his head with my hands, and lift him. His body limply dangling infront of me. His eyes weakly closing but he has a scornful smile on his goddamn face!

With so much hatred that was dawning on me, I look at him darkly and grip my hands tighter on his head.

"You will all witness my wrath!"

Holding his head with both hands, slowly squeezing it between my palms.

"I will crush every bit of you with my own hands!"

I am succumbing now to the darkness that's invading my system, unto my brain and my heart.

The rogue let out a horrible scream. His body twisting and squirms under my hold.

I felt the wolves around me holding their breaths as they watch me as I brutally end this miserable rogue.

Then something inside me shifts. My heartbeat pounded hard inside my ribcage.

And that's when a freaking sound came up behind me and I froze.

A terrifying scream echoed through the cells.

My world stops.

Lost and blinded by my rage, I absent-mindedly let go of the rogue. His body falls to the hard floor with a loud thud.

As the rogues fall on the floor, a warm soft hand touches my arm. A chill went down my spine upon its touch and I turn my head to the side to see her with a horrified look on her face.

My mate.

My heart sank when I look into her eyes full of pain and something else.

A tear rolled down her eyes and I swallowed hard. I felt my eyes turning back to normal, the fury that had formed inside me is now slowly fading down. My wolf silently backed away inside me.

"Why?" Her cracked voice filled my ears.

I don't know what to say to her. I tried to respond to her but no words came out of my mouth.

She turns away her eyes at me and gazes at the rogues scattered around. I felt her sadness towards these fucking rogues!

Why does she feel this way toward them?

"You don't have to feel sorry for these rogues," I said to her when I found my voice and the right words to say "They are the reason for your suffering! They are the cause of all the terrible things in the werewolf society!"

I clenched my fist at my side when I sense her feelings towards these fucking rogues!

Our bond twisting and churning, torn between our contrasted feelings.

Waves of her emotions filled my heart, it felt different. It was sharp cutting through then a cold feeling will envelop my heart. I felt like I'm going to explode with the feelings that are riding toward our bond.

"I will make sure that they would regret all the horrible things and all the harm they had brought towards the shewolves they had abused!"

My heart felt broken to see my mate like this. Why did she feel suddenly pity for the rogues?

I can't understand her. She should be furious at them! And happy to see that they are suffering from pain!

"This is not right.." she turns to look at me and slowly shakes her head "I-I don't know why? But--" Then she held her breath for a moment, her eyes felt something differently "I know I should be mad at them but something in me, something in my heart tells me that this is not right.." her voice trailed off and her hands went up to her chest.

Her breath became deeper.

"I felt their pain. Their hearts plead to be understood. The misery of how they wanted to be loved and someone who will accept them.."

Her tears flowed down her face and she tear her eyes from me and look down once again to the rogues.

I feel something differently odd towards my mate. Even my wolf was baffled at what she was suddenly saying.

She took a step towards the rogues and leaned down at one of them. She was about to reach out her hands but I stop her immediately before her hands touch the filthy rogue!

"What are you doing? Get your hands off of them! Stay away from them!"

I angrily roared.

I had never been angry like this before. But when it comes to her I will lose all the temper in me if something might happen to her again!

She was stunned when I roared to her abruptly our bond lash out at me, tearing my heart. My wolf angrily growls and is ready to pounce at these rogues once again!

They need to die now!

"Something was off to our mate. I feel something different from her and her wolf. Get her out of here, now!" Wailed my wolf inside my head.

Abruptly I went to her but then she stood immediately and turn to me.

My body turn cold and shivered when she turn to me as I saw her eyes.

She had that eyes again.

Her eyes were fully dilated in white.

I had a bad feeling about this! I had to get her out of here!

"It's alright. You don't have to worry..." her voice echoed in my head "I felt like I had to do something. I don't understand. I can't explain but I just suddenly felt the need to do something.."

I didn't have time to speak to her for she quickly turned her back on me and look down at the rogues on the floor.

Then suddenly her body lit up. A warm sensation slowly emerged from her. It swirled from her feet up to her body then started to spread at the rogues below her.

'What is happening to her?' I worriedly said to my wolf.

"I have no idea" respond my wolf.

'I am not going to just stand here and watch her! I will not let any harm or anything bad that's going to hurt her!'

I am not going to lose her again!

Taking a step towards her, the rogues on the floor suddenly started to wail and I stopped. The rogue's body quivered and they all started to shift into their wolf form. I drift back my eyes at her still she was just standing, with her body covered in a bright light.

Then the rogues falls unto her feet and they all wailed up to her.

The power of the light spread through them and one by one they whimpered.

I felt the power surfacing to her radiating off of her. A power that is so strong but not strong that will hurt you but the kind of power that reaches your heart, a feeling that's like mending your heart. Take the pain out, the anger and hatred and fill it up with such a warm tenderness feeling that envelopes your heart.

Then I sensed the guards behind me went down on their knees.

'What the hell is happening? What is she doing?'

I was worried and baffled at the same time but I was more concerned at my mate.

Gradually the rogues went silently below her feet and they laid down. The lights from her slowly faded. Abruptly I walk to her, grab her arms and turn her body to me. I look at her eyes and it slowly turns back to its normal color. And she look at me and smiled softly.

"It's all alright now. All hearts will heal. All of us will end.." she whispered.

Then her eyes closed and she fade out under my hold. Abruptly I lift her body in my arms.

'She passes out again. This had happened once when she had let this kind of thing to Ace. It makes her strength worn out.'

I held her tightly in my arms and walk out of the cell not even glancing at the rogues.

I head straight to my bedroom and laid her gently on the bed.
