Algerone carefully fed her, piece by piece. Belinda opened her mouth and chewed slowly, a long-lost warmth filling the air.

“The doctor said you can have some soft food. How is it? Do you still like the taste?" Algerone asked gently.

Belinda set aside her former dominance and persistence, tears in her eyes as she looked at him and nodded.

After a while, she choked up and said, "Algerone..." Her nose tingled, and tears overflowed uncontrollably.
