Chapter 5: uncanny

Sierra's POV:

It's been two weeks since the Golden couple went their separate ways , well when I say separate I mean Callum.

Angela on the other hand is like a dog with a bone , she is always around him , always trying to get his attention by flirting with other guys.

It's actually quite funny to watch , try as she might her futile attempts to make him jealous fail miserably.

Me on the other hand , I'm great , Trudi and I have gotten really close in the short time we've known each other.

We're currently in English class , the teacher is talking about literature , it's my favourite subject , I'm rudely interrupted by a piece of paper landing at my feet , frowning I pick it up.

Opening it I see a note " you look really pretty today ", stunned I look around , I see no one looking at me so I put it in my book and turn my attention to the teacher.

The bell rings soon after , as I'm gathering my things , Trudi comes skipping over.

" Omg that was so fucking boring " she whines , I just shrug " it wasn't so bad ' I say.

She gives me a strange look , as I go to put my book in my bag the note falls out

Trudi picks it up , her eyes like plates as she reads it "oh my fucking god , you've got a secret admirer , that's so romantic ', she gushes.

I roll my eyes , snatching the paper out of her hand ," not likely," I say , grabbing my stuff and walking out.

Later at lunch I'm waiting for Trudi to join me , when I feel a presence in front of me , looking up I see Callum Inconeti smiling at me.

" Hey sierra what's up," he asks me , I choke on my sandwich , coughing like a maniac.

Callum steps forward to pat me on the back , I hold my hand up," I'm fine thank you", I wheeze out

Callum nods his head," as long as you're sure ", he says, smiling that dazzling smile.

He stands there awkwardly for a bit, clearing his throat ", well Umm I'm going to Umm go ", he looks at me with a strange expression.

" Yeah okay, well see you later I guess " he says to me, with that he's gone.

Trudi walks over, her face pinched " was that Callum over here?" she asks, I simply nod, taking a bite of my wrap.

"Well, what did he want?" She asks.

I shrug, wiping my mouth," to be honest I have no idea',

My friend is deep in thought, tapping her chin " I think he likes you " she says.

I look at her "what? No, he doesn't, besides he just broke up with the queen bitch" I tell her, picking up my rubbish, throwing it in the bin.

We walk out to go to our lockers, a noise gets our attention, there in all her slutty glory is Angela trying to kiss poor Callum, he looks at me with a look of ' help me '.

I grab my books, grabbing Trudis' hand, we head to our science class " see what I mean " I tell her.

She smirks at me, shaking my head we walk into the lab, her laughter ringing in my ears.

Callum's POV

I'm sitting at a table surrounded by my friends and a few girls, the chatter around me is deafening, I'm so sick of this shit.

I look across the room to see Sierra sitting alone, getting up I walk over to her, I clear my throat to get her attention, she peers up at me " hey how's it going " I ask her.

She starts choking on her food, I go to pat her on the back, she stops me her hand raised.

I'm just about to ask her out when her friend walks up, the moment is gone. I head back to my friends, Tom, my best mate taps my shoulder " don't look now " he says to me.

I see Angela and her posse heading our way, nope not today, Satan.

I grab my things rushing out the door, I can hear the harpy screeching my name.

I make it out unscathed, walking to my locker I see Sierra, God she's beautiful, her friend is talking to her.

My thoughts are interrupted by a body pressing against me, bloody Angela is trying to put her hands on me. I look over to see Sierra staring at us, she grabs her friend, walking into a classroom.

I gently push my ex-girlfriend away " what the hell Callum what's your fucking problem", she whines.

Is she that stupid? I look her in the eye " this is the last time I'll tell you this " I say, my temper rising," we are over, that means no kissing, no touching, hell don't even talk to me anymore ".

I walk away leaving a stunned Angela alone.

Fuck I'm so over this day!!!
