"Put me down!" Arissa hissed, attempting to hit my chest. However, her strength was much weaker than normal. Odd.

"I will soon enough.”

Not letting go, I made my way into my room and went straight for the bathroom.

"I don't want to bathe with you!"

"Too bad. We both need to be cleaned up and then I want you to be present to report what happened. "

Once I was finished with my punishment, I would hold a meeting with Igor and Hans to discuss what happened and our findings.

"I can wash myself alone!”

"Not happening.” I had a feeling if I left her alone right now, she would disappear. Even if she wasn't openly showing it, I had a hunch she was worried about revealing one of her many secrets to me.

I couldn't quite explain how I knew, but I simply felt it by how tense her tiny body was and how badly she wanted away from me.

Shaking off my thoughts, I kicked my bathroom door open and went inside. Making a beeline for the tub, I turned on the water so it could heat up.

A low growl that reminded me of a pup erupted from Arissa’s lips, sending a wave of amusement through me.

"Just relax.” I sighed, dropping her on the ground and beginning to undress. "I won't do... much... to you."

Realizing I intended to try something, she jumped up and attempted to run. However, I was quicker and grabbed her by the back of her shirt.

Pulling it off, I pushed her into the shower and followed with just my pants on.

"What are you doing?" She demanded as I used my arms to trap her against the wall. "Let me out!" "Just give up already.”

Leaning forward, I pressed my mouth against hers, earning myself a gasp of shock. Taking advantage, I stuck my tongue in her mouth and let a groan of my own escape as her taste invaded my senses.

At first, she didn’t move, didn't fight, she just remained in place, allowing me to kiss her and press my body against hers. But soon, like the last time, her arms snaked around my neck and she met my hunger with her own.

Fuck, she drove me wild. However, I couldn't push too far. I would have to take small steps in order to get to the final goal. In order to do that, I would need to truly understand her. That was quite a feat for me given that I didn't give a hoot about any woman I fucked.

"Ivan..." She sighed, her eyes fluttering shut.

Taking that as all the allowance I needed, I reached around and cupped her ass, lifting her so she could straddle my waist.

She bit back a moan of pleasure as my mouth found her collarbone and moved down to her exposed breasts. We had both managed to lose our shirts, but our pants were still in the way. Lifting my hand, I moved her hand and clasped it above her head. Bringing her nipple between my lips and teeth, I began to nip and lick at it.

Beneath me, I could feel Arissa shuttering with pleasure. No matter how much she tried to deny that she didn't like this, she couldn't lie her way out of the way her body was reacting.

Deciding to take it a bit further, I used my free hand to begin undoing her pants. Even if I couldn't be with her, I could still taste her. That wasn't invasive, and it wouldn't push too far.

It didn't take long for me to undo her pants and begin sliding them down.

"W-wait..." she panted, beginning to come to her senses. "What are you doing?"

All hints of pleasure and excitement she had were gone, and now a defensiveness that I had never seen was in place.

Pulling back, I eyed her, trying to figure out what she was thinking at that moment. What exactly caused that darkness that was creeping up behind her eyes? All I had done was try to make her feel even better.

"I'm doing what a man would normally do to a woman who is clearly enjoying his touch.” I responded slowly. "Is there a problem?"

I watched as Arissa opened her mouth and then closed it. This was a first. She was actually at a loss for words. Was whatever was haunting her that bad?

"Stay away. " She finally snapped, yanking her pants up and wrapping her arms around herself. "Don’t come near me."

My eyes widened as I watched something click on. Gone was the cool, calm, and collected Arissa, and in her place was a terrified woman with some major demons.

"Don’t touch me." She sobbed, collapsing to the ground and curling in on herself. "DONT!"

"Hey!" I gasped, rushing forward, only to stop as a feral snarl escaped Arissa's lips.

"STAY AWAY!" She shrieked, sending a powerful force against me.

Stumbling, I tried to withstand, but dammit, she was strong. Much stronger than I ever expected. "DON'T COME NEAR ME!" She repeated again and again, clawing at her skin and squeezing her eyes shut. "DON'T!"

All I could do was watch as she deteriorated into nothing more than a wild creature trying to protect itself from some unseen creature. She was no longer in the present; instead, she was clearly in her head, reliving whatever had caused her to act this way.

Slowly moving forward, I reached out a hand, trying to touch her. I wanted to know what it was that was tormenting her, and the only way to do that would be to see for myself, just as I had done the last time. If she got mad, so be it. This now involved both of us, and we wouldn't be able to begin growing closer until I helped her battle her demons.
