Chapter 34: The Attack

The castle became busy at night. I told my guards outside the door to call Lucille because I need someone to help me with my bath. Though they look at me like I'm stupid. Mike went to the kitchen to get her.

Lucille came with some bath items in her hands.

"Lucille what's going on outside? Why are they making a fuss?" I asked.

"Did I mention that's the real reason you called me at this time." She said while putting the staff in the bathroom.

"Say it!"

"Calm down Adellee. They're making a fuss outside because Master Lukas came back bloody from their fight with your mate's pack. Master's fighters are also wounded. Everyone is busy taking care of them and taking blood to speed up their recovery.

I couldn't help but happy at the outcome of Luke's attack on Kayden. I hugged Lucille and jumped on the bed.

"Adellee wait, I'm not done yet."

I let her go and waited for what she would say next.

"I also heard that many died on the SnowMoon and SilverMoon part."

"SnowMoon? My Father is at SilverMoon?" I started to panic.

I can feel if Kayden died but not father and brother. My blood started to boiled. I started to regain my wolf power because Lucille is helping me. I didn't think twice. I walked out of my room and look for Lukas.

"Adellee wa---" Lucille shouted but I slam the door closed to cut her words.

I can't think straight right now.

Mike and Victor looked at me but I stared at them and challenged them if they dare to stop me. Luckily they understand and just follow me.

I found Lukas with the Oracle tending his wounds.

"What are you doing her---" Before she can finished her words I pushed her away.

Lukas stared at me.

"Are you jealous mate?" Lukas asked.

"Jealous? In your dreams! I just came here to asked you if you killed my father and brother that resides at Silver Moon when you attacked them."

Lukas grab my chin and pulled me closer to his face. I saw the almost healed wounds in his body and I wonder who's the lucky wolf made that to him.

"Don't start with me now Adellee. I'm not in the mood fooling around. I don't know the looks of your father and brother but I'm sure I killed a lot of wolf in your pack." He said before he pushing me away. "You bastard!" I gather all my strength and punch him but he caught me in the middle and pin me against his bloody body.

"You're lucky that I need you. If not, you'll surely be dead."

"Lucky? I think I'm the unluckiest person in the world because I'm here next to you." I said before pushing his hands of me.

"Master Lukas, I think you need to rest in your chamber now. You lost a lot of blood. You need to feed now also." Katarina the oracle said.

I looked at her. I feel that she likes Lukas so much because she worries herself for this demon.

"If I don't know that oracle can't have a mate, I will think that you and Lukas have a thing." I said while smirking.

"Shut your mouth and go to your room wolf." Katarina said.

"Why? are you jealous that I'm standing next to Lukas while you're here just watching us."

"Don't be delusional. I think nothing about that."

"I think this is the will of Moon Goddess. Maybe this is why you stayed mateless after being an oracle for many years. You can just give-up your power and stay with Lukas but I guess, Lukas will need you no more because you will be an ordinary human." I said.

She gets mad and grab the table next to her and throw it to me. I didn't avoid it. I think someone will protect me from it.

And I'm right.

"Both of you stop this instant! You're both sore to my eyes right now. I don't need both of you here, so leave!" Lukas shouted. "But Master Lukas you need to feed." Katarina said.

"I can feed with someone else. Now leave before I throw you both in the dungeon." Lukas shouted.

Mike and Victor made their way and assist me away from Lukas while Katarina just walk away from the room.

"Stop acting like child Adellee and don't say such thing in front of your mate." Lukas warned.

I turned and look in his eyes. "The last time I checked, my mate is a werewolf not a vampire."

Lukas lost his patience. He grab me in the arms and brought me to his chamber.

body down. I fight but when i feel his sharp teeth sink in my neck, I slowly

lose my strength. My body started to feet hot.

'Damn this mate sh!t. I can't fight the feelings started to grow in my body.' I said to myself.

"Even you denied it couple of times, your body is mine Adellee. I will not let that wolf take you. I will kill him

the next time our paths meet, He said before he tore my clothes.

"He almost killed you and I'm sure he will be success next time." I said as I wait him to do his thing.

But before he successfully assault my body again, someone knocked on the door.

I heard Lukas curse before standing and open the door.

"Make sure it's important or I will kill you this instance." Lukas shouted.

"I'm sorry Master to disturb you but the castle is under attack!"

"What?! how does it happened?"

"We still don't know but there are many. They already killed all our patrols in the borders."

"Fvck! Gather everyone and kill them immediately. Call the Oracle and send her here." Lukas ordered.

I smiled. Kayden is here. He finally found me.

Lukas saw me smiling. "Don't be happy so early, this time I will your mate."

"I have faith with my real mate. I can't wait to see him soon."

"Master, i'm here. How may I help you?" Katarina said, interrupting our conversation.

"Bring Adellee at the secret chamber. Stay there until I came get you two." Lukas ordered.

"Yes Master."

Lukas leave us after giving his orders. Katarina grab a robe and throw in me.

"Wear that wolf. I don't want you walking into chamber naked." Katarina said.

"If i were you, I will stop this stupidity to regain your soul from the Moon Goddess." i said.

She grab me and move in front of the bookshelves. She push a book and the shelves move, showing us a tunnel.
