“Mommy, you have a cold, why are you still working overtime? Why don’t you ask for leave from your superiors?” 

As soon as Mia and Kara heard that Sally had a cold, they became extremely worried. 

“Mommy, I’ll bring you a cup of hot water.” 

“Mommy, I’ll get your medicine.” 

Watching her two precious children busy themselves for her, Sally’s eyes were becoming moist, but her heart felt warm. 

She didn’t regret giving birth to them at all.

But every time she looked at them, it reminded her of the child who had died shortly after birth. 

“Mommy, why are you crying? Are you in pain? Should I call an ambulance and take you to the hospital?” Mia, concerned and distressed, gently wiped Sally’s tears away. 

Kara was also worried, “Mommy, did someone bully you?” 

Sally smiled and said, “It’s nothing, mommy is happy.”

Because Old Madam Logan disliked her and favored Sally, it was she who had strongly tried to match–make Howard and Sally in the first place.

Grace covered her face and shook her head, tears streaming down non–stop. She was as heartbroken as one could be.

“Amanda, Sally is back.” Grace choked out.

Amanda was greatly surprised. “What did you say? Sally is back?” 

Her expression instantly turned cold. “So, she’s the one who hurt your face?” 

“Yes!” Grace nodded, feeling wronged. 

Now, Amanda’s expression became even more unpleasant, even filled with anger. “After six years, she dares to be so arrogant.” 

“Amanda, you might not know, but she’s now a very famous top lawyer, and Howard even acquired Justice Law Firm for her.” 

Every piece of news shocked and infuriated Amanda. 

“Amanda, do you think Howard doesn’t let me see Rina, because of Sally? I know Howard doesn’t like me, and I don’t expect a future with him, but Rina, she’s my daughter, and I really can’t bear to be apart from her.” Grace cried harder, displaying the full extent of a mother’s love for her child, making anyone who saw it unable to help but feel heartache. 

Amanda patted her hand sympathetically and reassured her, “Grace, don’t worry. You’re Rina’s mommy, and in the Logan Family, I only recognize you as my daughter–in–law. I won’t let an outsider harm you or Rina.” 

“But, Amanda, Howard doesn’t let me come to the Logan

Amanda’s eyes turned cold, and she snorted, “If Howard doesn’t let you enter the Logan Family, then you can live in the Manor. I’ll bring Rina over later, so you can be reunited as a mother and daughter.” 

“Amanda, thank you.” Grace felt grateful, but a smug and sinister smile flickered at the corner of her mouth.
