Remington stared at the last two lines, his lips pressed tightly together.

She said not to look for her. She wished him happiness.

But Liz, you took my heart with you. How am I supposed to find happiness without you?

Liz danced year-around and had a good physique.

A twenty-hour flight shouldn't have been a big deal for her.

Yet, for some unknown reason, Lizetta, who had never suffered from motion sickness, started feeling queasy as soon as the plane took off.

She threw up almost everything she had eaten and felt exhausted for the entire journey. Fortunately, she dozed off later, but even in her sleep, she was anything but peaceful.

She was having a nightmare, one filled with darkness.

A man's figure approached her menacingly, his eyes glaring crimson as he interrogated her.

"Liz, where are you taking my child?"

She shook her head, the man suddenly reached out and grabbed her by the neck.

"Why are you leaving! Haven't I told you never to leave me? Why aren't you listening?"

Trembling, Liz struggled to breathe. Suddenly, her hand found a knife, and she stabbed at the man in desperation.

Blood, thick blood, flowed out as the man fell to the ground.

Panicked, she tried to retreat but was caught by the man grabbing her ankle.

"Liz, don't try to escape from me! You can't escape; wherever you go, I will always bring you back!"

"Ms. Gardenia? Wake up, we're about to land."

Liz was jolted awake by a sudden tug on her coat, gasping for air, feeling that Remington's cold voice still echoed in her ears.

Her face turned pale as she looked at the man beside her.

He was Ryan, of average height and ordinary looks, smiled politely at Lizetta.

But his eyes made Lizetta uncomfortable. She wasn't sure if it was because she hadn't fully recovered from the nightmare, but she felt a chill from him.

He was sent by the West family, along with another tall man.

Liz nodded at the man and began to pack her things.

But she didn't have much luggage, just a large backpack.

Lizetta looked pained as she covered her mouth, "I really feel terrible."

Her face looked pale, and she had been vomiting on the plane. Ryan had no choice but to comply.

At first glance, she was unrecognizable as a bulky, middle-aged blonde woman, her skin color hidden by a hat and gloves.

Ryan, who was on the phone nearby, occasionally glanced at the restroom door. Lizetta guessed he was contacting with the tall man.

Most likely, the tall person had gone out to meet the contact.

Lizetta quickly caught up with the woman ahead, creating the illusion they were together.

She successfully evaded Ryan's notice.

Thinking about Ryan's mention of the contact waiting at the entrance, Lizetta deliberately chose a different exit.

But just as she was looking for a cab, a commotion behind her caught her attention. She saw the tall man pushing through the crowd, seemingly searching in her direction. Lizetta's face paled, and she pressed her hat down, darting away in panic.

But she had only taken a few steps when a car suddenly stopped beside her. The door opened, and someone quickly covered her mouth before dragging her inside.
