“Ladies and gentlemen of the pack, I have served this pack well for the past few years, and it has been a very big honour to protect and serve you" Hazyn starts out at the pack meeting. It has been three days since the wedding, and thankfully carol has made a full recovery; and it was just overheating that made her passed out. Hazyn also decided I needed to be in charge of the pack as soon as possible so we can do the tour of all the packs that we have alliances with.

“Today marks the day that I have made the tough decision to stand down as your alpha and instead become your Luna while Erika takes over as alpha. She needs this more than anyone, and I know she will treat us well,” Hazyn yells over the crowd; I look out at the packs’ faces and can see the worry on a few of the members I haven't had much time with over my stay here, but to my shock, the majority are actually happy about this change.

My head fills with the packs’ voices congratulating me on becoming alpha as to not all scream at once, giving us all a headache.

“I can see that some people are not happy about this change, and I understand up until this point we all just assumed I would become Luna, but I promise I will serve and protect you just as well as Hazyn has. My door is unlocked if you need anything, even if it's just to talk,” I call out over the crowd before Hazyn drags me away from the pack to sign the paperwork.

"You did great; you just need to sign here. Then I will get on the phone and arrange the travel arrangements for next week.” I nod my head, quickly signing my name

“I declare you Erika as alpha*, Hazyn chants before signing his name as Luna of the pack.

"Anything I can help with?” I question, making Hazyn shake his head.

“Nope, just go talk to the pack and pack a suitcase or two; I got this”, Hazyn smiles, kissing me quickly before starting to dial numbers on the phone.
