Chapter Twelve: Dont back talk me, Mister!

Erikas pov

I hear a loud banging on the door, which wakes me up immediately. I unwrap myself from palms arms and open the door to see a fuming alpha.

"you slept with him" he spits out with venom making me roll my eyes. "yes, we slept, in the same bed but it isn't any of your business anyway. You are not my mate and never will be, we share a room, and that is it. You are the one who decided I couldn't bloody leave until my stupid wolf came back, which I will tell you now she won't. You need a luna of this pack, and I am so sorry that for once I was happy." I scream making palm sit up in the bed looking confused at all the commotion going on. "wait for one second; you guys ain't mates? And what do you mean your wolf is gone and won't come back” palm questions with worry laced with every word.

"not my fault you drove your mate to reject you, yes I need a luna, and I can't do that with you here, so you're wolf needs to come back" he screams, by now I know the whole pack is listening in on this fight; they already hate it enough that I share a room with there alpha and to hear one of our fights won't make that any better.

"you were rejected? Who was your mate?" palm questions again.

"not now palm” I hiss before turning back to Hazyn. I feel bad for snapping at Palm, but right now my biggest worry is the stupid alpha in front of me.

"I couldn't help him rejecting me you asshole; you don't even know the story on what happened. I saved Bens sister not signed up for a baby sitter and be stuck in a pack yet again. I never asked to be A true were or to survive. If you had just let me die or let me go, you could have the life you always wanted. My wolf won't come back. Think about it stupid boy Ashley got her wolf back with her mate around, a few doses of wolves vain and your wolf can fight out of it, Ashley and I were injected every night. That is also why she still isn't injured, she didn't get cut with silver nor did she get beaten and electrocuted every day, I wear so much makeup to cover the scars and burns that will never heal nor will my wolf. So don't backtalk me, mister, when you don't know anything” I scream before slamming the door on his face. I know the pack heard from the gasps at my words, but I don't care anymore.

I slide my back down the door and just cry.

"Erika bear, who was your mate?" Palm questions making me gulp. "Matthew" I sigh I hear him growl before he shoves me out of the way and slams his way out of the room.

"Palm wait if you kill him ill be in pain like I was before I brought him out of his coma" I speak with tears rushing down my face, I rush after him to try and stop him from making a huge mistake.

"no Erika, I could never hurt you, but after everything they did, he did, you are just going to sit here and not be angry. You are a firey girl who has been through so much how are you not mad" he questions I don't know where everyone is, but at this point, I don't care.

"because I may act tough, but on the inside, I am broken. After the day, you left, everything went terrible. I was fourteen when you left in the three years until he rejected me I was raped, abused, hurt, whipped everything under the sun. Summer, my wolf, even told his wolf before he even found out we were mates to stop the abuse, but his wolf ordered him to rape me breaking my wolf and me. If you walk out that door Palm, don't come back” I state making him freeze.

"my mate is in trouble Erika, I have to leave, and I wasn't going to come back because my mate and I are moving to be with a pack in Rome, I wanted to see you yesterday to make sure you were okay and say goodbye, I know you are not okay, but I still have to say goodbye" he states before leaving the house. I fall to the ground and just cry not even caring if I get stepped on by anymore, this isnt how I wanted my life to go and maybe after everything I should just end it and get out of everyone's way.

Hazyn POV (i promise to stop changing pov so often)

"you are a dick" I hear Ben yell slamming his way into my office.

"she cried her self to sleep in the fucking hallway because Palm left, she admitted all of that in front of the pack and even what her stupid mate and his friends did to her" he slams his fist onto my table.

"no she didn't, none of that came out of her mouth" I state making him roll his eyes.

"it did, but you locked yourself in your office, she was raped, abused, hurt, whipped everything under the sun even her mates’ wolf wanted him to do it. You want a mate and a luna sure but what you said was uncalled for" Ben cries out in anger.

"your mate will be ashamed of you if she finds out" he adds, making me close my eyes

"shes dead, she died after we met. I need a luna, but it will never happen because my mate is dead" I scream.

"The door is open stupid” Ben comments making me realize straight away that I just admitted my mate died to the whole pack now they will know I am not worthy of being alpha and my rights will be taken away. "I am going back to Ashley" Ben states before leaving my office. I follow after him to see Erika asleep on the floor. She looks so innocent when she is asleep. I pick her up carefully and lay her in her bed.

"I am so sorry Erika; I should have realized she was gone because of your stupid mate, I lashed out" I speak softly before kissing her forehead. She is my soft spot, and that scares me.
