Reflections
Chapter 10

The warning of lights flickering slowly giving a hint to the four people in the row in front to take their seats.

"About time," Mia muttered sliding down in the seat more. Her father raised a finger to his smirk which began to fade with the darkness, thus only allowing the eerie light and crawling fog to cross the stage.

Soft music haunted the air when their eyes finally took notice of the bent over body slowly arising from the fog. With the flow of the melody, she commanded the stage with such passion and grace. It was mesmerizing with each perfect twist with her partners entrance onto the stage.

As her father shifted up with tight grip on the arm rest, Mia stifled a giggle at her sister's balanced lifts. "Don't worry dad."

He glanced over to his youngest daughter and whispered joking, "Its my job." Turning his proud eyes back onto his ballerina, he added, "She's so beautiful. I haven't seen her this confident in a long time, Mia."

Wiping her eyes quickly, Mia responded, "I know. I wish Tyler could be here for this."

When the performance finally ended the audience rose and clapped in the carnage hall. Julianne took her last bow staring out into the blinding crowd and exited the stage.

"Looking for me?"

Julianne was drawn to the side quickly and pulled into a kiss. Her bright eyes opened wide when smiling at the surprise.

"Tyler!" She gave him another small kiss before saying, "I thought you be stuck in therapy." Her eyebrows furrowed, "You didn't skip?"

I shook my head with wide grin, "I couldn't miss this. I rescheduled." I brushed her auburn escaped pieces of hair away and whispered, "I missed watching you."

She placed her hands on my cheeks and stared into my eyes longing, "I missed you." Julianne voice dropped, "Never leave me."

"Never," I promised.

There wasn't many things I remember after being in a coma for two years, but only one thing stuck to my brain.

Julianne.

It was surprising reunion when my parents and Mr. Reeves witnessed me coming alive and mumbling Julianne's name and about a lake frantically.

More eerie was the fact, Mr. Reeves received a phone call a minute later from the police. They found Julianne unconscious body out on the banks of Lake Tahoe.

Could anyone explain how I knew where she was? Or even more so, how Julianne kept mentioning in her disorientate state how I was alive?

No, but it happened.

"Julianne, you were amazing," her father stated giving a big hug when they stepped up to the stage.

All I knew was that I was given a second chance with my soul mate. I would treasure my Jules every second for she was my reflection.
