The triplets were looking at the entrance of the living room. Their doe-like eyes were filled with curiosity as though they were wondering who had just walked in.

Nigel could not tear his eyes away from them. Hearing about the triplets and actually meeting them in real life was completely different. One would need to be sharp to notice the girl's resemblance to Anne.

"My god...” Sarah covered her mouth and finally realized that Bianca was braiding Chloe's hair. She narrowed her eyes and pulled Chloe toward her before crouching down. She then proceeded to pull Chris and Charlie over to scan them up and down. "You all look so beautiful. How is that possible... You must be Chloe, right? Are you Charlie? And you are Chris, am I right?"

"Who are you?" Chloe asked curiously. 1

"I'm your grandma, and this is your grandpa,” Sarah introduced herself and Nigel.

Bianca rolled her eyes at how shameless Sarah was.

Nigel crouched down and whispered gently, "Can Grandpa give you a hug?"

Sarah said, "You can't do that right off the bat. They might get scared.”

Nigel immediately held back, not daring to move. If they started crying, it would break his heart. "Okay, I won't. Don't be afraid.”

Worried that the children might be confused, Sarah explained, "Grandma is Mama's Mama, and Grandpa is Mama's Papa. Do you understand?"

"But Mama's Mama is dead!" Charlie said.

"I know who you are talking about. That person doesn't count because I'm your Mama's real Mama It must have been hard for your Mama to raise you three to be such wonderful kids.”

"Do you know when Mama will be back? I miss her..." Chloe pouted.

"Tomorrow. She'll be back tomorrow." Sarah knew better than to mention that she was in the hospital.

Sarah stood up. "Trying to scare me? Do you think I would cower? I won't, even if Anthony is standing right there! I might have been scared of him before, but I'm not anymore. Do you know why? It is because of these kids! Why don't you run home to your mom and ask her how important children are?"

"Sarah..." Nigel took her hand and whispered, "Don't say such a thing in front of the kids."

Sarah calmed down. "I'm here for the kids, not to argue with you."

Bianca glared at Nigel. "Dad, you brought her here, right? Are you trying to provoke me on purpose?”

"I didn't know you were here," he said.

"This is my home. Whether I'm here or not, you shouldn't bring a known homewrecker into my house. What would Anthony say if he found out?" Bianca did not care that the children were listening to them.

Nigel scowled. "Bianca!"

"Am I wrong? You are a known homewrecker who did nothing but seduce other people's men. What gives you the right to come and tell the kids you are their grandmother?” Bianca ran her mouth without a care.

"Why you!" Sarah turned to look at Nigel before complaining sweetly, "Look at your daughter and listen to what she's saying in front of the kids!"

Bianca clenched her fists at the sight until her nails were digging into her palms. "Flirt somewhere else! Chloe, come on. We were halfway through braiding your hair. Let's continue.”

Sarah widened her eyes in disbelief when she saw Chloe standing obediently for Bianca to braid her hair. Had she not been concerned that she would scare the children, she would have gone over to pull them apart.

"I'm close with the triplets now. They like me. Once Anthony and I get married, they will be my children as well," Bianca said gently.

"What a joke. You can't give birth to your own and shamelessly try to take someone else's kids! I won't allow this!" Sarah's chest heaved at Bianca's words.

Nigel took Sarah's hand. "Let's go back.”

"Why? I haven't gotten to build a bond with the kids! You, too! You are their grandfather!” Sarah asked in agitation.

Nigel felt more and more drawn to the children as he watched them, which was exactly the reason why he didn't want to scare them.

“Let's go." Nigel pulled Sarah away.

"My Darlings, Grandma will go for now. I'll come to see you again!"

Back inside the car, Sarah asked, "How are we going to resolve this? I won't forgive you if you side with Bianca to bully my Anne!” She pinched him on the arm.

He immediately stopped her. "Let's pick a time to sit down and talk. We need to make sure that Anne isn't bullied. What Anthony is doing right now definitely isn't right.”

Sarah pulled her arm back and pouted. "This is so strange. Bianca has only known the triplets for a few days. How are they already that close?”

“They are still just two years old, after all. What do they know?" Nigel said, which reminded Sarah of something important.

If they handed such young children over to be raised by Bianca, they would soon forget about their own mother.
