Chapter 1363

Anne stood on the balcony and watched as the Rolls Loyce disappeared from her vision.

Her heart finally calmed down.

It was barely ten in the morning, the kids were in school, and Anne sat in the garden, checking out the news on her phone.

It seemed that Bianca's trouble showed no signs of stopping.

Her screen then lit up by an incoming call, and the number was not shown.

She thought it was a spam call and declined the call.

The next second, her phone rang again.

She answered, “Hello?”

“It's me."

Anne was stunned. “Brother? Is this your number?”

"Of course, it is one that people would not know about. Anthony did not do anything to you, did he?” Tommy said casually.

“No,” Anne said.

If the kids had not appeared at that time, she probably was already a deeply hypnotized rag doll. “This time, let brother bring you out of this place, okay?”

“You...” Anne was stunned.

“I promise you, Anthony would not be able to find you this time.”

Anne looked down. “No need for that. It is impossible...”

She was tired.

No matter how many times she had tried to run away, her efforts were all in vain

She was physically and mentally exhausted, feeling hopeless.

Plus, she did not want to be separated from the kids at the moment.

The kids were so protective of her. If she ran away, that would hurt the kids too much

Tommy asked, “Anne, do you trust me? I let you come back, was to bring you out of here for good, not to ignore you.”

Anne said, “Brother, thank you for the offer, but... I really don't feel like trying it now.”

“I know, but I am just afraid that you will not end up well if Anthony catches you. Don't worry, just pretend that I kidnaped you. No matter if he can catch you or not, you are always innocent. Wait for me. You will have a chance.” Tommy laughed.

“Brother, no..." Anne wanted to say something more, but he hung up.

She looked at the dimmed phone screen, feeling wary.

Was Tommy really going to bring her away?

What did he plan to do?

It would not work.

She did not plan to leave.

She wanted to stay for the kids.

Anne found the undisplayed number and called back, but the number was no longer in service. What should she do?

Would Tommy do something too bad to be salvaged? He would not, right?

Anne did not mention this when Anthony came home in the afternoon.

She did not want to provoke him further.

"Why didn’t you go out today?” Anne heard his deep voice asking when she was keeping him company in the study.

She was stunned.

“I thought that you said I was not allowed to.”

“I will accompany you there tomorrow,” Anthony said.

Anne was about to say okay when she recalled what happened at the church and was a little unnerved about it.

“What's the matter?”

Anne's gaze was a little dodgy. “Will there be... any accident?”

Anthony looked at her. His sharp gaze was bottomless.

“Last time at the church...” Anne hesitated to tell him.
