She's been in that damp and gloomy place for over a month, suffered enough. Come on, man, for my sake, let her come back home. Il make sure someone keeps an eye on her so she won't hurt Clara again."

lan's good mood had evaporated with the call. His voice was chilly as he spoke, "You'd better keep your word. If she doesn't leam her lesson, next time it won't just be a slap on the wrist." Edwin exhaled in relief, "I promise, you have my word."

After hanging up, a tearful Heidi immediately asked, "Bro, what did lan say? Is he coming to see me?"
