Elrael woke up unexpectedly back on the Moon. He was horrified to discover he was no longer in the body of the robot but once again had access to the lunar installation. “What happened?” he asked himself. “I was looking at them with my own eyes, I had only a few steps to go, and then... nothingness. Then I was here,” he said in disorientation. “Who did this to me?!” He was boiling with anger. “It’s impossible!” Elrael flinched in his mind. It’s been a long time since he felt this kind of negative emotions in response to unexpected failure. “I don’t know what happened; maybe the installation blew up a little earlier than I anticipated?” he wondered. “Never mind, it would’ve happened anyway. At least those irritating people were killed equally suddenly as my program was transferred back to the Moon!” he added silently.

“Regardless, the direction signal of hyperspace communication had left when the transmitter was turned on. Even if the main part of the message wasn’t transmitted, that short signal was and someone will surely receive it soon. After all, it had been sent to the heart of the Sarassian empire. Knowing my brothers and sisters, they won’t let any race roam freely to explore their own cosmic backyard...”

The Protagonists made a mistake coming to this planet all those years ago, thought the robot. They should have been killed thousands of years ago instead of interfering in the evolution of yet another species. It’s their fault this race must be annihilated. The planet must be sterilized! All the ruins of human civilization must be destroyed. No rock can remain unturned.

Like no trace of the Protagonists remained on their native Aurora, we will erase all other intelligent races. There is no room in history for the remembrance of this fallen race of vile mass murderers. There can only be Sarassians!
