Monday rolled around and I got ready for school. I wore a pretty green top and hip rider jeans. I wanted to feel good today even though my emotions are mixed up like they have been in a blender. Thoughts of Logan keep running through my mind. I know he must be hurting and that makes me hurt too. I hope he is at school so I can check on him without being obvious.

I let Tori drive my car to school since she now has her drivers permit. She did good, she needs practice on parking though, not really supposed to take up 2 spaces. We walk into the school together, Tori heads to her homeroom and I head to my locker to grab some books.

Logan is standing at his locker staring off into space. Of course, my locker jams! I stand there jiggling the handle and cursing under my breath when Logan walks up behind me and raps the door, making it swing open. I look up at his gorgeous face softly thanking him. He has dark circles under his eyes and looks so sad!

My heart aches for him. I impulsively give him a hug and he holds me close for a moment. "I'm sorry, I hate to see you in pain." I told him. "Actually that made me feel better, he said, its nice to know someone cares." I care too much I think. He walks away with a small wave.

I walk to homeroom to start my day. After the announcements I head to History class and try to stay awake through the boring lecture. My teacher is a jerk! He was lecturing very softly and I was listening to him and taking notes off the board. Suddenly he said "NO" really loud and I jumped. Then he made a big deal out of it "sorry I didn't mean to wake you up." Ass, I was taking notes! No wonder his wife divorced him!

I make it through the rest of the morning without being humiliated. If I'd had known what was coming next I might have left early! I was at my locker putting away my morning class books when Kim comes storming over and starts yelling in my face! "I saw you hugging Logan, I knew you are after him! What kind of person steals another persons boyfriend?!" I stand there bewildered while she had her tantrum in front of the entire school!

Logan stormed up from his locker and started shouting back at Kim "I'm not your boyfriend anymore, if you were so worried about being my girlfriend you wouldn't have been screwing guys behind my back. Sara is a decent girl and she isn't like you at all. All she was doing was showing me some kindness. Just leave her alone and stop making trouble!" Kim ran to the girls room in tears while the students who witnessed the incident called names after her.

I gave Logan a grateful smile and said "thanks". Logan grinned, "I didn't want you to wolf out and kill her, at least not in front of witnesses!" I laugh, "I don't lose my temper that easily, not unless it's a full moon." I say jokingly. We walk into the lunch room together and Kyle joins us in line. I look at Logan nervously, "Maybe I should move, there will be gossip." Logan looks at me with a smile in his gorgeous green eyes, "let them, I really don't care what anyone says anymore." He continues to talk to me while we are in line, "Can you imagine the end of week you will be 18 and the end of next week I will too?" "Yea, I replied softly, it will be a game changer."
