Chapter 186 A Suddenly Appearing Uncle

"Old lady, what does this house have to do with you? Get out of here." A middle-aged man shouted at the top of his voice.

Behind him were seven or eight other men, all of whom looked vicious.

"Then, as the house's owner, can I take care of it?" Athena asked coldly.

Maeve immediately looked over. Upon seeing Athena, she quickly shouted, "Athena, you're finally here! Otherwise, those gangsters will hurt me severely!" Athena strode over.

Jaxson and the three bodyguards followed behind her.

They were all professional bodyguards, crushing those people in terms of aura.

"Maeve, are you injured?" Athena asked gently.

"If you came a little later, they would have beaten me!" Maeve said, wiping her tears.

"Old lady, don't slander me. When did I say I would beat you?"

Athena looked at the speaker.

"Who are you?"

"You are Athena?" The man asked proudly.

"Please pay attention to your attitude when you talk to my boss!" A bodyguard said suddenly.

Athena glanced at the bodyguard gratefully.

The man flinched.

Damn girl, where did she find all these men?

"I'm her uncle and senior. What attitude should I pay attention to?" The man muttered.

"Uncle? How come I've never heard of you?"

"Then you should ask your black-hearted grandparents! They left me to others after I was born. They only gave me some money for the past decades and never came to see me! If I hadn't seen the remittance slips recently and asked my parents, I wouldn't have found the truth and would have been kept in the dark for the rest of my life!"

The man took out a thick stack of remittance slips as he spoke.

Athena looked and saw her grandma's name on the remittance slips.

"Just the remittance slip can't prove anything." Athena still believed in her grandparents.

The man sneered, "I know what you're thinking. This alley will definitely be demolished in a few years. It's such a big house with a good location, and the compensation will be a great fortune. You want to keep all money to yourself, huh?"

Athena had never heard of demolition, while her "uncle", who appeared out of nowhere, knew clearly.

"As long as you can prove that you are really grandparents' child, I will give you everything you should have," Athena said indifferently, "But if you can't prove it, I just think you're here to cause trouble. Then don't blame me for being merciless."

"They are all dead. How can I prove it?" The man shouted.

Jaxson couldn't understand what they were talking about but was annoyed by the yelling.

He stepped forward and raised his strong long legs.

"Ouch!"

The man was kicked and flew to the ground, clutching his heart and rolling in pain.

"Little girl, he is your uncle. How could you let your subordinate beat him? Are you not afraid of karma?"

"Yeah. You're so ill-mannered!"

The people brought by the man immediately scolded her.

Athena ignored them.

She looked at the man rolling on the ground with blood oozing from the corner of his mouth.

"Although grandparents are dead, I'm here. We can take a DNA test. As long as the result proves we're related, I will recognize you as my uncle."

"Okay! You'd better do what you said!"

Enduring the pain, the man got up with the help of his companions.

Athena looked at him, wanting to see a little guilt on his face, but there wasn't any.

The man seemed to be very sure he was Athena's grandparents' child.

"Let's go now, or you'll run away," the man said.
