A dim light flashed in Ethan's eyes, "You won't be doing any better than him soon."

Hearing Ethan's words, Abbot turned to look at him with confusion.

Ethan looked at Abbot and said, "If you aren't born with a silver spoon, you probably would be a bachelor forever."

Abbot was speechless.

Ethan and Abbot stood in front of the window and teased each other. Colin was kneeling at the door of the ward, he lowered his head and remained silent. After a long while, Faye said, "Lance, help him to get up."

When Lance heard the words, he let out a sigh and stepped forward from the back of Faye.

Lance walked to Colin, leaned over to help him up, and said in a low voice, "Colin, let's get up first and talk."

Colin knelt still and said hoarsely, "If Faye doesn't forgive me today, I won't get up."

Lance had known Colin for so many years, but he had never seen him like this. He was stunned. Then, he turned his head to look at Faye.
