As soon as the voice of the person on the other end of the phone stopped, the car became very quiet.

Since the man on the other end didn't hear a reply, he said after a moment of silence, "Mr. Bond, do you know who am I? I'm Saylor."

Ethan said coldly, "I'm not free."

Saylor said with a tone full of melancholy, "Well, then forget it. It isn't me who wants to eat it. It's Violet"

Saylor was talking none stop on the phone and it roughly summed up in two points.

Firstly, it wasn't him who wants to eat the lamb stew. It was Violet.

Secondly, the only person Violet and Saylor knew in Cocanel was Ethan. There was no one else they could ask for.

After Saylor said all the nonsense, he finally sighed and said, "Mr. Bond, I'm sorry to bother you. I'll leave you alone then. I'm going to hang up."

Ethan's expression looked gloomy and he said, "Do you need anything else other than lamb? I'll ask my assistant to send it over."

Saylor was stunned when he heard his words. Then, he took advantage and named a whole lot of ingredients.

Ethan replied, "I got it."

Saylor asked, "Mr. Bond, will you be the one who brings the food over later?"

Ethan responded in a cold tone, "Is there something wrong?"

Saylor joked, "Violet needs to ask a favor from you but she is too shy to give you a call. She would like to talk to you in person."

Ethan tightened his hand on the steering wheel. He thought for a while and replied in a deep voice, "I'll be there later."

Hearing Ethan's answer, Saylor smiled and said, "Mr. Bond, Violet and I will be expecting you!"

After Saylor finished speaking, Ethan didn't reply and hung up the phone.

As soon as Ethan hung up the phone, Abbot, who was sitting in the passenger seat gave him a thumbs up.

Ethan glanced at Abbot and said coldly, "Get lost."

Abbot said with mixed feelings, "Ethan, I will look at you with admiration from today onwards."

Ethan was irritable. He turned the steering wheel without saying a word.

Abbot continued, "Tsk, tsk, tsk. The expert of the flatterer. He is going to deliver raw ingredients for someone that he loves and his rival in love. That kind of effort is so touching." Ethan asked, "Are you having a death wish?"

Abbot teased, "Well, I am just having the idea of what a flatterer looks like.

An hour later, the car arrived at the hospital. Ethan didn't get out of the car. He pressed the button to unlock the door and said in a cold tone, "Get off."

Abbot didn't refute and got out of the car with a smile.

He didn't take the opportunity to ridicule Ethan which made Ethan think that he was strange. Ethan couldn't help turning his head to look at him a few times.

Unexpectedly, Abbot stood outside the car window and teased him in the next second, "Ethan, don't you get out of the car?"

After Abbot finished his words, he didn't wait for Ethan to answer. He smiled playfully and said, "Oh, right! I forgot you have to deliver the lamb to Ms. Rowan and her boyfriend." Ethan was speechless.

After Abbot finished speaking, he was worried that Ethan would get out of the car and beat him up. Therefore, he disappeared swiftly.

Ethan tightened his jaws. He picked up the cigarette case on the central control, knocked one out, and bit it at the corner of his mouth. Then, he lit it and he looked ashen.

On the other side, Abbot took the elevator to the ward.

When he pushed the door of the ward open, Colin was sitting on the head of the bed with his injured body and sending a text to Faye with one hand.

Seeing Abbot, Colin raised his eyes and asked, "Did you go to Maxwell?"

Abbot approached him with a smile. He picked up a chair and sat down in front of his bed. Then, he told Colin about what had happened at Maxwell's villa.

Colin put away his phone and sneered, "No wonder Brandon is afraid of him."

Abbot said, "He's a ruthless man."

Colin replied, "It's a saying that barking dogs seldom bite. Who would expect that they could bite even more ruthlessly?"

When Colin finished speaking, he suddenly thought of something and asked, "Where is Ethan?"

When he mentioned Ethan, Abbot's mouth widened with a smile, and said, "Ms. Rowan and her boyfriend want to eat lamb stew, and Ethan went to buy the ingredients for them." Colin raised his eyebrows lightly and seemed confused, "Huh?"

Abbot leaned his back into his seat and joked, "You heard it. Ms. Rowan's boyfriend called Ethan saying that she would like to eat lamb stew, and asked Ethan to buy it for her." Colin said with a faint smile, "Ethan goes for it?"

Abbot answered, "Yes."

Colin smiled, cursed, and asked "Don't they know how to order takeout if they would to have lamb stew?"

Abbot laughed playfully and said, "Probably the ingredients Ethan bought are more flavorful."

Hearing Abbot's words, Colin stretched out his legs and kicked him, "He is our best friend. Stop laughing so vulgarly."

Abbot dodged away smartly, raised his eyebrows, and said "Should I give you a mirror to look at yourself?"

Colin smiled but he didn't answer. He took out his mobile phone, found Ethan's number, and dialed it. The calling ringtone rang for a few seconds, but Ethan didn't answer it. He hung up instead. Colin chuckled and sent a text to Ethan, "Ethan, Abbot and I also want to eat lamb stew tonight."
