Ethan finished his words and Violet froze for a few seconds over the phone.

Ethan asked in a deep voice, "Are you available now?"

Violet got back her composure and hurriedly answered, "Yes."

Ethan's eyes deepened, "Shall I go up now?"

Violet responded, "Well, yes. You can go to Room 811 of the orthopedic department."

Violet finished and Ethan said 'okay' and hung up the phone.

A few minutes later, Ethan appeared at the door of the ward. Ethan raised his hand and knocked on the door. Then Saylor opened the door from inside.

Ethan and Saylor looked at each other. Saylor smiled while Ethan's face was gloomy.

Saylor took the initiative to greet him with a smile, "Mr. Bond."

Ethan replied in a calm voice, "Well."

Saylor asked, "Coffee?"

Who would drink coffee at night?

Ethan glanced at Saylor indifferently. Despite Ethan's calm expression, Saylor could feel Ethan's mockery of him.

Ethan kept calm, "Thank you."

Saylor replied, "Okay, then it's settled. I'll go and buy it."

Saylor finished. He turned his head and blew a kiss at Violet and stepped away.

Ethan saw this. His face was calm but he clenched his jaw.

Ten minutes ago, Violet finished answering Ethan's phone call and Saylor was eating an apple. Saylor sat on a chair with his legs crossed and looked at Violet, "Violet, Ethan must like you." Violet glared at him unhappily, "You can't even shut your mouth with food."

Saylor replied, "I could eat and talk at the same time."

Violet asked, "When are you going home?"

Saylor answered, "I won't go home."

Violet looked at him, "Did you have a fight with Dad?"

Saylor stammered, "I don't dare to argue with Mr. Rowan."

Violet laughed at his words, "I see. Did you make your mother angry again? That's why dad kicked you out."

Violet exposed Saylor. Saylor said, "You shouldn't say so bluntly and tell the whole truth when getting along with people."

Violet replied, "You deserve the punishment!"

Saylor, Violet's brother, had the same parents as Violet and was two years younger than Violet.

Violet smiled, "Sit down and I'll get the evidence for you."

Ethan took his seat and watched Violet walk to the bedside table and rummage through the drawers. His eyes deepened.

After a while, Violet handed the evidence to Ethan, "How about the evidence?"

Ethan took the evidence from Violet's hand and said in a deep voice, "Your foot has not yet recovered. You'd better not walk around frequently."

Violet smiled, "It's fine. It's much better now and the doctor said I'll be discharged in a couple of days."

Ethan answered, "Ok."

Ethan was a serious man. When Ethan was looking down and looking through the evidence, Violet didn't interrupt him. She just turned around and walked towards the hospital bed. As Ethan looked through the evidence, the ward was as quiet as it could be.

After about five minutes, Ethan looked up and said, "The evidence is okay."

Violet answered, "That's good."

Ethan dropped his eyes on Violet's injured ankle, "Is the foot injury serious?"

Violet replied, "My foot was very swollen for the first two days, but it has been better for the recent two days."

Violet finished. Ethan stood up and walked to her, looking at her from a high position, "Is it convenient for me to take a look?"

Violet was stunned, "Huh?"

Ethan kept calm and took his phone out of his pocket. Then he started to take a picture, "Evidence."

Violet had never experienced this before and had no idea if what Ethan said was true or not, so she hesitated and nodded her head slightly.

Ethan knelt on one knee and squatted down in front of Violet. He reached out to lightly clasp her ankle and placed her foot on his knee. He massaged her ankle with his rough fingers. Watching Ethan's action, Violet held her breath. Different feelings suddenly occupied her mind.
