Chapter 470 Made Him Look Good

Chapter 470 Made Him Look Good

When Lance finished his words, Faye narrowed her eyes.

"What did you say?"

Lance lowered his voice and said on the phone, "Blaine Farrell appeared in Kedham."

Kedham, the place where Martha was settled.

Faye lifted her eyelids and looked at Galen when she heard what he said. She said, "Galen, leave us alone."

Galen took the hint and said, "Yes, Ms. Nash."

Galen had done talking, she turned and left.

Seeing Galen leave and closed the office door, Faye said, "Are you sure it was him?"

Lance said, "Positive. I have sent people to stare at Martha, we worried that she might do something. Just now, the person who checked on Martha reported that she met Blaine in private." Faye was speechless.

Lance had always acted in a prudent manner.

He said that he was right, he must be right.

After Lance finished his words, Faye was silent for several seconds and said, "Keep an eye on them."

Lance replied, "Don't worry, I will have someone keep an eye on them."

Faye said, "Don't mention this to Colin."

Lance paused and whispered, "Andy was in front of me when my man called me."

Faye said, "It's all right. You can tell Andy. I said you don't need to tell Colin about this."

Lance hesitated for a moment and answered, "OK."

Faye hung up the phone and pursed her lips.

Blaine was really lucky. He was already a spent force and still wanted to fight hard.

Faye thought for a moment, took a cup of coffee, and sipped. It occurred to her that just before Galen left, she seemed to have something to say, so she picked up the phone on the table and dialed Galen. Galen answered in a second, "Hello, Ms. Nash."

Faye, "Did you have something to say?"

Galen, "Ah, yes, wait a second."

After Galen finished speaking, she hung up the phone. After a while, he pushed through the door and held two folders.

Galen was a native inborn optimistic and laughed most of the time.

It was obvious that he grew up in a good family atmosphere.

Galen hugged the folders with a smile and put it on the desk, pushing them to Faye, "Ms. Nash, there was a film festival award ceremony recently, this was the invitee list." Faye said, "Okay."

Galen said, "You will come with Mr. Farrell at that time, so there's no need to arrange a dance partner for you, right?"

Faye looked up, "Oh?"

Galen said, "We've got a notification that everyone should bring a partner to participate."

Faye lowered her head and opened the folder on the table. She looked through two pages and chuckled, "Who planned this film festival this year?"

Galen responded, "No idea. I only know that he just came back from abroad."

Faye said, "That's new."

In previous years, the film festival award ceremony was implemented as a routine.

In normal cases, most of the important awards had been determined. The audience's vote and the live broadcast were just a gimmick.

No one knew better than them, the insiders, how it actually worked.

After reporting his work, Galen left. Faye handled the work accumulated in the past two days and had no time to spare. She even settled her lunch in the office. She finished her work by three o'clock in the afternoon.

Faye stretched and got up, went to the water dispenser to get a glass of water, and stood in front of the French window to see the outside scenery.

There was a lot of traffic outside the window. Faye was standing tall, but she didn't see it clear.

At half past five in the afternoon, Faye left work on time. As soon as she packed up her things, she received a call from Colin.

Faye leaned against her desk and pressed to answer, "Yes?"

Colin said, "Abbot invites us to dinner in the evening."

Faye smiled, "For what?"

Colin said, "Wedding banquet."

Faye smiled and said, "To celebrate Jadon and Aunt got together?"

Colin grinned, "No, to celebrate Ethan had a bad cold."

Faye was stunned and couldn't help but laugh, "You two are mean."

Colin explained that he had nothing to do with it, "Honey, it was Abbot's idea."

They talked on the phone for a few words. Faye whispered, "You'll be drinking later. Don't drive and take my car."

Colin said, "OK, what you said."

Faye said, "Colin."

Colin responded in a low voice, "Yes?"

Faye smiled, "Don't be garrulous."

Ten minutes later, they met in the underground parking lot.

Colin stepped forward after he saw Faye.

Faye looked up at him and said, "Just wait in front the car. Why are you walking up?"

Colin looked down at Faye and smiled, "I can't help it. I can't control my legs."

It was the rush hour for off-duty. Faye didn't want to be the focus of attention. She used the key to open the door and said, "Hop on."

Colin stood still and stretched his hand to Faye.

Faye's lips slightly twitched, "People are staring."

Colin chuckled, "Well, you should be more active and make me look good."

Colin's 's words fell, a burst of low chuckle rang out in the parking lot.
