Chapter 422 I Like You Very Much

Chapter 422 I Like You Very Much

When Faye threw herself into Colin's arms, she was trembling.

Hearing her calling his name, Colin felt pain and suffocated as if his heart were being squeezed by a hand.

He rested his chin on her head. To prevent her from overthinking, he tried his best to keep his voice steady when saying, "What's wrong?"

Faye replied in a muffled voice, "Nothing."

Colin chuckled, "Are you worried about me?"

Faye's eyes turned red, but she didn't answer.

Colin wrapped his hands around her waist lightly. He wasn't sure which of her shoulders was injured, so he didn't dare to put forth his strength. Then, he said, "Faye." She replied, "Yes?"

He bowed his head to kiss her forehead and asked, "Nothing is impossible for a willing heart, right?"

She raised her eyes and said, "Yes."

He laughed, "Can you tell me where your injury is now?"

She answered truthfully, "Left shoulder."

Colin's eyes darkened. Although he felt very distressed underneath, he didn't show it on his face but just said, "Let's go to the hospital."

Faye asked, "Are you injured?"

He let go of her, childishly turned around in front of her, then looked into her eyes, and said, "Do you think I'm as stupid as Abbot? I will never hurt myself to defeat my enemy like him. " Faye had been tensing up all night. Now, she finally felt relieved and smiled, "I will convey your words to Abbot when I see him."

Colin raised his eyebrows slightly and said, "Aunt Carlotta hasn't married Jadon yet, but you're..."

He suddenly fell silent. After a long while, he asked, "If Aunt Carlotta married Jadon, Abbot will become your cousin-in-law, right?"

He changed the topic so fast that she couldn't keep up with him for the time being.

When she figured out what he meant, she laughed, "Yes, you're right."

Colin said, "Don't remind Abbot when we get back."

Faye retorted, "He'll know even if I don't remind him."

He said, "If he knows, he will probably get carried away."

After they chatted for a while outside the car, Faye got into the car. When Colin leaned over to fasten her seat belt, she stared at his face unblinkingly.

He suddenly smiled, "What? Do you think your husband is very handsome today?"

She moved forward a little and kissed his cheek.

Colin froze while looking at her.

Faye asked, "How do you feel?"

Colin smiled slightly, "I am getting carried away."

Then, he propped one hand on the seat, pressed the other against the seat back, and kissed her lips.

Faye kissed him back and whispered, "Colin, I like you very much."

Hearing this, he bit her lower lip and pulled it lightly. And then, he said in a deep voice with a smile, "Did you eat candy while I wasn't there?"

When she squinted at him, he added, "You taste so sweet."

When Colin and Faye were making out in the car, they had not noticed Andy and Hunter were standing outside at all.

When Colin had enough kisses and flirtation, he got out of the car and closed the door. It was not until he turned around that he found the two men standing straight in front of him. He raised his eyebrows and asked, "Why were you watching us? Do you want to study?"

Andy said, "Mr. Farrell, he wants to apologize to you."

When Andy finished speaking, Hunter said with a flattering smile, "Mr. Farrell, I'm sorry I didn't do my job well tonight. Please forgive me. Please don't tell Mr. Bond about it." Colin asked in a deep voice, "What's your name?"

Hearing this question, the smile on Hunter's face became embarrassed, and he said, "Mr. Farrell, I'm a nobody. You don't need to know my name."

Thinking he was worried that he would make things hard for him, Colin sneered, "Don't worry, I always avenge on the spot. I won't retaliate against you afterward."

Hunter's smile became more embarrassed when he said, "No, Mr. Farrell, please don't get me wrong."

Colin said, "Then, what's your name?"

Seeing Hunter's embarrassed expression, he turned to look at Andy.

Although Andy was seriously injured, he stood as straight as usual and said, "Mr. Farrell, his name is Hunter."

Colin smiled, turned to look at the embarrassed man, and said, "Hunter?"

Hunter said, "Yes."

Colin said, "Nice name."

The corner of Hunter's mouth twitched, but he didn't dare to refute it.

Then, Colin smiled at him and said, "I won't tell Ethan about it this time. But you must never repeat the mistake."

Hunter thanked him repeatedly, "Thank you, Mr. Farrell."

Colin waved at him and said, "Go to do your work. I'll send my wife to the hospital now."

Hunter asked, "Do you need me to send a few people to protect you? I am afraid Maxwell's people will make trouble for you."

Colin thought about it for a few seconds and nodded, "OK."

Then, he looked at Andy and said, "Get in the car."

Andy quickly got in.

As the car was running in the night, Faye took out her phone and dialed Lance's number.

And the call was soon answered. Before she could speak, Lance hurriedly asked, "Are you okay?"

Faye replied calmly, "Yes, I'm fine."

Hearing this, he breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I'm glad to hear that."

Faye asked, "How is Emmett?"

Lance faltered, "He, he's fine."
