Chapter 412 Tip-Off

Carlotta didn't know why they talked about marriage.

She even forgot what they were talking about at the beginning.

It seemed to be a message from Jadon, reminding her not to forget the classmate reunion party on the weekend.

Carlotta didn't know what to reply. After a long time, she didn't reply. She turned off the screen, put the phone under the pillow, and turned to look out of the window at the dark night. Her brain was in a mess.

The next day, Faye and Colin got up early because they were going to Bomsville.

Carlotta, who always got up early, didn't show up this morning.

Cindy brought breakfast for the two and dispelled their doubts. She smiled, "Ms. Kemp went to bed very late last night."

Faye stirred the porridge in her bowl and asked, "Didn't she go to bed early last night?"

Cindy said, "She went to bed early but didn't fall asleep."

Hearing this, Faye looked at Colin.

Colin smiled, "People will be the same when they fall in love."

Faye, "What do you mean?"

Colin said, "It's good that she couldn't fall asleep. It proves that she cares about Jadon."

Faye understood and stopped asking.

Even when Colin and Faye left, Carlotta didn't show up.

Cindy sent the two out. Colin got in the car. Before leaving, he called Robert and asked him to take Carlotta to buy some clothes.

Robert replied, "Okay, Mr. Farrell."

Colin said, "Choose according to your taste. Don't let her choose by herself."

Robert replied, "Got it."

After hanging up, Colin threw the phone on the central console and started the car.

Cocanel was not far from Bomsville, but it was not close either.

At first, the two of them planned to take a plane. But when they remembered the last time they went to Roxford, they thought it was more convenient to drive themselves.

Soon they left the city and drove on the expressway. Colin tapped the steering wheel with his slender fingers and said in a low voice, "Honey, do you have your favorite rose variety?" Faye kept thinking about Emmett all the way.

Hearing Colin's question, she was stunned. "Pardon?"

Colin said, "About a month and a half later, we can start planting roses."

Faye pursed her lips, "No, I don't have any favorite variety."

She didn't know much about flowers. She didn't even take a look at them usually.

It was because Colin said he would plant roses for her that she was looking forward to it.

After Faye finished her words, Colin took her hand and said, "Don't think too much."

Faye replied, "Okay."

Colin could always sense her emotions. But he never revealed it or went deep into it. He just used his actions to distract her and make her feel at ease.

It was afternoon when they arrived at Bomsville. The two of them had lunch at the service station.

Faye dialed Lance's number when they were about to leave the expressway.

Lance answered it quickly this time.

But his tone was not serious. "Hello, babe, you miss me?"

Faye was speechless.

Lance and Faye had known each other for so many years, but he had only called her sister Faye. He had never called her babe like that.

Faye paused for a second and answered calmly, "Where are you?"

"I'm playing cards with my friends. I'll be back later," Lance said.

"Which friends?" Faye asked.

Lance said impatiently, "You don't know them. Why do you keep asking? You're so annoying!"

Faye frowned and was sure Lance was in a situation he couldn't control.

Just as Faye was about to say something, a strange man's voice came from the other end of the phone, "Mrs. Langford, right?"

Faye looked at Colin subconsciously and answered calmly, "Where is he?"

The man smiled, "Don't be angry. Lance will be back soon."

Faye said coldly, "Let him answer the phone."

"It's normal for men to play outside. You..."

Faye didn't know what a real couple should say when they quarreled. She could only recall how those women in the public relations department quarreled with their boyfriends. She took a deep breath and said, "Let him answer the phone, or I'll break up with him today."

After Faye finished her words, the man fell into silence.

After a while, the man handed the phone to Lance and teased, "Your girlfriend is not simple. Did you hook up with a rich beauty?"

Lance sneered and took the phone. "Are you done?"

"Your address," Faye replied.

Lance was stunned. He hadn't expected Faye to be in Bomsville. But then he regained his composure and asked, "Are you coming over?" "Cut the crap," said Faye.

At this time, Lance threw a card out and said to the person opposite him, "Andrew, my girlfriend said she wanted to come here. What do you think?"

It was so noisy on the phone that Faye couldn't hear what Andrew said clearly.

About a minute later, Lance said fiercely, "I'll send you the address. Let's make a deal in advance. Don't make trouble here. They are all my friends. If you dare to embarrass me, get out of here immediately!" Without waiting for Faye's reply, Lance hung up the phone.

Hearing the phone being hung up, Faye moved the phone in front of her.

Then Lance sent her a message, "Room 386, Heaven of Bomsville."
