Chapter 394 New Tricks

Faye was losing ground under Colin's offensive.

A few minutes later, when her fingers trembled, he coaxed her in a deep voice, "Would you like to try hooking your legs around my waist?"

Faye's eyes flushed. When she was about to shake her head, he persevered, "I learned some new tricks."

Sex got her bogged down.

When Faye was about to reach orgasm, Colin asked her to tell him what had happened in the Farrells today in detail.

After the sex, she bit his shoulder without moving, so he grabbed the back of her neck with his big hand and smirked, "It hurt?"

Faye inhales lightly.

Colin said, "I know mine is too big."

Faye was speechless.

After having breakfast, Faye back to her bedroom and called Lance early in the morning the next day.

When the call was answered, Faye relayed what Maxwell had said yesterday.

Lance cursed on the phone, "D*mn it! Is Maxwell a psycho?"

Faye said, "He has all the detailed information about you guys. It seems he has investigated you for a long time."

Lance smiled mockingly, "Is he the person behind Tiffany?"

Faye said truthfully, "Even if it's not him, that person must have something to do with him."

Hearing this, Lance said angrily, "The wolf has a winning game when the shepherds quarrel. I thought we could close the net soon, but Maxwell suddenly appeared." Faye said, "Let's put his matter aside for the time being. Our priority now is to find out where Emmett is."

Lance said, "The Farrells is like a theater, and the show has never ended."

Faye said in a deep voice, "In this circle, it's normal that people act plays all the time."

Hearing her words, Lance remained silent for a moment and then said, "I've investigated Maxwell before. His hometown is Bomsville. I will go there today."

Faye pursed her lips and said, "I will let Andy go with you."

Hearing her mention Andy, Lance felt a pain in the back of his neck, so he instinctively refused, "No, I'm on bad terms with him. When you asked him to send Martha to my place, he looked at me as if I'm your adulterer."

Faye knew Andy was a straightforward person.

Hearing Lance's description, she grinned, "Bear with him. Andy is good at fighting. If he stays by your side, you will be safe."

Lance sneered, "He can't defeat a hundred people alone, right?"

Faye said, "You're right, but he can beat ten alone."

When she was talking to Lance on the phone, her tone sounded relaxed. But after she hung up in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, she couldn't smile anymore, holding the phone tightly. Maxwell wasn't a good person, and Emmett must be in his hands now.

Emmett was smart enough to fight against Tiffany, but he was no match for Maxwell at all.

When she was deep in thought by the window, Colin pushed the door open.

Hearing the sound, she turned her head back and said, "Lance wants to go to Bomsville. I want Andy to go with him."

Colin strode forward, hugged her from behind, rested his chin on her shoulder, and said solemnly, "It's up to you."

Faye sighed, "I hope Emmett is all right."

Colin said, "I've notified Ethan and Abbot. They have connections in Bomsville and will help us. Don't worry."

Faye nodded.

He then tilted his head and kissed her earlobe, saying, "I also have a lot of connections there, and I will ask them to do their best to find him."

An hour later, Andy was on the way to Lance's place after getting the order from Faye.

When he was about to arrive, he suddenly received a call from Lance.

After he answered the call, Lance said in a very flattering tone, "Andy, I saw your car." Andy said coldly, "I see."

Lance said, "I'm working for Hank on the surface anyway. Can we keep a low profile?"

Andy asked, "What do you mean?"

Lance said, "If you park your car at the gate of my community openly, my subordinates may see you. I'm afraid..."

Lance stop talking, hoping Andy would understand his implication.

Unexpectedly, Andy replied impatiently, "I don't mind it."

Lance was speechless. Andy did not mind it, but he did!

Standing at the gate of the community and looking at the car parked in front of him, Lance had an urge to cry. When he was about to say something more, Andy pushed the car door open and walked up to him. When their eyes met, Lance didn't know whether to cry or laugh.

They were in the same boat after all. So, they should greet each other with a smile now.

But on the other hand, Lance was working for Hank, while Andy was working for Colin. So, when they met, they should glare at each other even if they could not fight.

Lance did not know how to manage his facial expressions. When he looked at Andy with a worried face, the latter stepped forward, grabbed him by the collar, and tried to stuff him into the car.

When he struggled and looked sideways at him, Andy said expressionlessly, "No one will suspect you now."

Lance replied, "No, Andy..."

When he was just about to say something, two thugs in their early twenties suddenly appeared out of nowhere and then rushed at Andy, shouting, "Let go of Lance right now!"

Looking at the two thugs who were galloping over, Lance felt as if he were looking at two fools.

It was said that people all have their crosses to bear, but he suspected he had much more than others.
