Chapter 360 An Unknown Secret

Chapter 360 An Unknown Secret

Seeing Jake's message, Faye hesitated for a while and replied, "Tomorrow."

Jake asked, "Are you sure you have made up your mind?"

Faye replied, "Yes."

"If Colin does something wrong to you, I will assassinate him for you," said Jake.

"No," said Faye.

Perhaps it was because Shepard had a great influence on her when she was a child that Faye had always thought that fickleness was human nature.

When he loved her, no matter how bad she was, he would still love her.

But when he didn't love her, even if she killed him, he still wouldn't love her.

After sending a message to Jake, Faye went to make a cup of coffee.

Halfway through the coffee, she picked up her phone again and sent a message to Fanny. "Go to the bank counter and print out your current account in the past two years." Fanny asked, "Ms. Nash, what are you doing?"

"Post it on your Facebook. The screenshots will be enough. It should include your income and expenses." Faye said.

"Okay," replied Fanny.

Since the incident with Ralph last time, Fanny had been obedient to Faye.

Basically, she would do whatever Faye asked her to do. Even if she didn't understand Faye's intention, she wouldn't ask more.

Seeing Fanny's reply, Faye put down her phone, drank her coffee, and got off work on time.

She walked out of the office and took the elevator to the underground parking lot. When she took out the key and was about to open the car door, she heard someone calling her tentatively from behind. "Faye."

She turned around and saw Nylah standing not far away in a dark green cashmere overcoat. She looked thinner.

Faye turned around and greeted her with a smile, "Nylah."

Hearing Faye's voice, Nylah pursed her lips and smiled bitterly after a while. "I have divorced Hank."

Faye pretended not to know. "What?"

Nylah took a deep breath and changed the subject. "Faye, can you do me a favor?"

Faye smiled but didn't respond.

Nylah walked two steps forward to Faye and said in a low voice, "I can tell you a secret about the Farrells."

Faye said, "Nylah, if I were you, I wouldn't have been involved in the Farrells if I had taken great pains to leave them." Nylah took a deep breath and said, "I know what you mean."

Faye didn't say anything.

Nylah said softly, "I just don't want to owe him."

Faye knew who Nylah was referring to.

Faye was never curious about other people's affairs, so she didn't intend to ask Nylah about the story about her and Hank.

After Nylah finished her words, seeing that Faye was still calm, she added, "The relationship between the Farrells is complicated. I can't tell which group you belong to. But I know that you and Tiffany are at odds."

Faye said indifferently, "You're wrong."

Nylah was stunned. "How could it be? I heard Tiffany and Hank had talked about..."

Nylah shut up and looked at Faye in disbelief.

Faye pretended to ask, "What did Tiffany say to Hank?"

Nylah took a deep breath and thought Faye really didn't know about it, so she shook her head and said, "Nothing."

Looking at Nylah's complicated expression, Faye knew she wouldn't say anything more, so she smiled politely. "If there's nothing else, I'll go first."

Nylah answered dully, "Fine."

Faye turned around, got in the car, and left. After driving for a while, she took a look at Nylah in the rearview mirror and called Lance.

When the phone was connected, she asked, "Do you have time now?"

With a smile, Lance said, "Yes, I'm in the orphanage. What's up?"

Faye said, "Nylah came to me just now and told me that she knew the secret of the Farrells. Find a way to ask her what's that." Lance smiled playfully, "Why did she come to you?"

Faye smiled. "She probably thinks that you're not reliable, so even if she's working for you, she's always on guard against you."

Lance sneered, "She's really stupid. In the Farrells' game, I'm the most reliable one."

Then he cleared his throat and said, "By the way, Helen was sent back to her hometown by Hank."

"Yes, I know," Faye replied.

Lance said, "After all, she is his sister. Hank chose to protect her even though he was driven desperate."

Faye said calmly, "Hank is more human than Tiffany."

Lance kept silent for a while and teased, "Since he is so humane, will you let him go?"

Faye had arrived at the Fennth Community. She stopped the car and said calmly, "No. I won't let go of Tiffany, so I will be his enemy. When you're weeding, you must dig up the roots."

After hanging up the phone, Faye got off the car. But when she just took two steps forward, she heard Cindy's angry voice coming from the living room. "Why are you still here? I have told you that you are not welcome here..."
