Carlotta was in a daze. After her mind had been blank for a few seconds, she suddenly sat up on the bed and asked, "Who are you?"

Martha said, "It doesn't matter who I am! What matters is whether you still want to avenge Daisy's death."

Carlotta leaned against the headboard, turned on the bedside lamp, and asked, "Who the hell are you? How did you get my phone number?" Martha didn't answer her questions but continued, "If you want to seek revenge, meet me at HuggaMug Café tomorrow."

Before Carlotta could answer, Martha hung up the phone.

Carlotta sat on the bed in a daze with the phone in her hand, having an unreal feeling.

After a few seconds, she raised the phone to check the recent call, confirming that she was not dreaming.

Then, he sat down on the bed beside her, reached out to clasp her slender waist, and held her onto his lap.

She said lazily, "You are good-looking."

He said with a half-smile, "I am just good-looking?"

She raised her eyebrows and said, "You're also in good shape."

He teased, "I am just in good shape?"

Faye stopped pinching his earlobe, leaned over, and whispered into his ear, "You're also good at having sex."

She was giving out a fragrant smell. As soon as she finished speaking, Colin held her waist harder and said hoarsely, "Honey, are you sure you don't want it?" Faye rested her chin on his shoulder and smiled, "Yes, I'm sure."

Colin complained, "But I want it."

Faye's smile grew bigger before she said, "No, you don't."

He turned his head to look at her with a smile in his eyes and said in a deep voice, "Honey, you're more and more naughty."

Faye tilted her head, looked at him for a second, kissed the corner of his lips, and said, "I learned a lot from you."

Colin grinned, "Do you want me to teach you more tonight?"

Faye leaned against his shoulder softly and said, "Not tonight."

Colin was surprised to hear that, so he asked, "Why?"

Faye said, "Because I'm on my period."

Colin cast a deep look at her and said, "No wonder you dare to... seduce me."

After lying on the bed, Colin hugged Faye from behind, put his warm palms on her lower abdomen, and asked, "Does it hurt?" She said truthfully, "Just a little. It's not a big deal."

He kissed the back of her neck and said, "Don't hesitate to wake me up if you feel uncomfortable at night."

Faye rubbed her back against his chest, found a comfortable position, and said, "I will."

Colin froze and said hoarsely, "Don't move."

Faye was at a loss for words.

Because Faye was on holiday, she slept until nine the next morning.

When she woke up, she found that Colin had gotten up and that there was a heating pad on her lower abdomen.

She was a simple person, so she could not hide things or control her expression.

Faye saw something was wrong with Carlotta, so she walked up to Colin and secretly kicked his calf.

Colin raised his eyes, took her hand, held it tightly, raised his eyebrows slightly, and asked, "What's wrong?"

Faye said, "What's wrong with Aunt Carlotta?"

Colin glanced at the kitchen, chuckled, and told the truth, saying, "She said she received a call last night. The caller asked if she wanted to avenge our mother's death." Our mother?

Faye thought about it for two seconds before realizing that he was referring to Daisy.

Then, she asked, "Did the caller say anything else?"

Colin said solemnly, "The caller asked Aunt Carlotta to go to HuggaMug Café today."

Hearing this, Faye thought for a while and asked, "Who could it be?"

Colin rubbed her fingertips with his finger pulps and said, "I've guessed who it is."

Faye frowned, "The person who called you last night?"

Colin nodded.

Faye fell silent

She wanted to ask him who had called him last night but swallowed the words on the tip of her tongue in the end.

Colin raised his head when Faye bowed her head, and then the former smiled, "You're on a rare holiday today. Why don't you ask Rebecca to go shopping with you?"

Faye lowered her eyes and asked, "Shopping? Do you think I will let you go to meet the person who called you last night by yourself?"

Colin suddenly smiled, "Honey, can you become a little more stupid?"
