Lucifer Argent’s P.O.V

I swiftly took out my phone and messaged all of them, of course except my dad. I heard a knock on my door. I opened and saw that it was Devon. “Don’t ask me how or why, I just need to bring her there.” I said.

“I think you lost your mind but however, we’re still helping you out.” He stated. I let out a breath of relief when he said that they’ll help me out.

We made a scheme, planning that whenever my dad asks where am I , just lie that I’m in my room asleep. I just hope my dad doesn’t see the camera, but I don’t think they could tell that I’m sleeping on my bed. They couldn’t see me, or rewind until I’m on the bed asleep.

I carried her up and went outside, my friends on each of my side. My dad has more men which are these fellows fathers. Yes, it’s been since generations actually but this time it became more severe after finding out that a hunter mated to a wolf.

It’s forbidden.

I placed her in my car. The pack should be about one hour drive but I’ll be going full speed with my Ferrari so it’ll take about 30 minutes tops.

“Thanks.” I said.

I’ve never thanked or asked assistance from anyone in my entire life, and here I am telling those to rescue her.

I drove down near the woods. We know where the pack house is. We just need the secret way to get unnoticed or all hell broke lose. I parked my car at the side of the road and opened the door getting out and opening another door carrying her up and closing it.

I carried her up bridal style and went deeper into the woods. I heard five growls coming from the back of me and I knew that they knew I’m here.

I turned around meeting with five men, should be the whole team. Obviously, an alpha, a beta, a delta followed by an omega and an epsilon.

“Valentine, give her back to us.” The alpha ordered.

“I will in one condition, I need to be with her or at least know if she survives.” I said.

“We’re wasting time, call your pack doctors now.” I demanded.

The alpha nodded.

An Epsilon and Omega approached me, clutching her away from me. Walking further into the woods away from me.

A growl rumbled in my throat for allowing them to touch and lay hold of her away from me.

“You returned her back to us. Only for that, I’m letting you go.” The alpha snarled at me.

“No, I’m coming too.” I said following him at the back.

“Know your limits.” He shouted and transformed into his wolf receding from view sprinting away.

The beta and delta stayed glaring at me. “Look, I know that you’ve heard stories of me, but just do me a favour, inform me if she survives. There are reasons for what I did.“I stated.

They inspected at each other before nodding. I pledge them my phone number.

“Tell me, why did you save her?” The beta asked suspiciously.

“I just did.” I told and retreated back to my car.

I drove back to my residence, confining myself in my room. I couldn’t even think rationally as I felt like I was missing something.

‘You’re missing her.’ the voice in my head apprise.

I sat down on my bed.

Would she survive ? what if she - no. I mustn’t think like that.

I anticipated for a call or even a single text from them.

Just wanted to know that she’s in good condition. I couldn’t even eat.

I told my friends that I sent her back. They didn’t dare question me anything knowing I didn’t want to discuss about it.

I sprawled down on my bed, my mind lingering to the one person evidently her. What the hell is happening to me ? I groaned pulling on my hair.

Every time I glance beside my bed.

She’s not there.

Sometimes I wish she still was here. Why didn’t they text me yet ? Just as I analytical, I got a text.

I quickly pulled out my phone , typing in my password.

“She survived.” Those words conveyed a huge relief into me. I let out a breath that I didn’t even know that I had it held in.

I wanted to see her.

It’s more like I needed to see her. Should I ?

The alpha won’t let me that’s for sure.

Could these beta and delta help ? They seem to be my age compared to the alpha who is undeniably older. So maybe if I could just slip in ?

I sighed.

I can’t do that.

It’s like taking privilege and they’ll be loyal to their alpha. Needless to say, they won’t succour me and I of course don’t beg. It’s revolting and repellent.

I dislike it.

People beg to me, not the other way around.

I’ll make sure my dad doesn’t find out about this. He won’t dare wring my neck but he will squeeze the life of the others for assisting me.

I just want to cling her tight on me.

I yawned and drifted to sleep.

I woke up getting a glimpse beside my bed. “Val ?” I called.

Why isn’t she here ? Then all the things that happened yesterday rushed back to me.

I groaned.

It has been approximately 4 weeks equally known for a month since I’ve seen her. I couldn’t drowse, eat, bath and even shit peacefully. The exasperating voice in my head keeps howling for his mate.

I paced back and forth inside my room, thinking.

“Shut up!” I shouted at the infuriating voice but of course it didn’t stop as it kept whining and howling desperately.

I heard knocks on my door and opened it revealing Devon.

“Yes ?” I questioned.

“Good news!” He beamed and I raised an eyebrow at him. They caught another wolf?

“The wolf has been arranged for matrimony. Our spies handled with one of the members” He finished.

I stood there dumbfounded.

That was a breaking news!

My whole frame was shaking in rage.

“What ?”I growled.
