"Sure."

After Isabel hung up, she threw the blanket off her and promptly went to take a quick shower. She walked out of her room after she got changed into a clean set of clothes.

In the living room, Caprice was taking piano lessons from Liam. Melodic sounds of the piano reverberated across the house.

Sylvia and Aunt Tonya were chatting over a pot of tea

Flint was entertaining himself with the baby in the cradle.

When Isabel emerged, everyone turned to look at her.

Sylvia was the first to ask, “Isabel, why are you dressed up? Are you going somewhere?”

This was the first time in days that they had seen Isabel even bothering to get dressed up.

Isabel told her, 'I have to go to the set at “The Wonder"."

Sylvia nodded with understanding, then she asked, "Do you have to leave right now?”

"Yeah, we start shooting in an hour, so I have to head over there right now," she explained as she prepared to head outside.

Sylvia signaled at Flint.

Flint took the hint and promptly rose to offer, "Sis, I'll take you there.”

"It's fine, just stay home with everyone."

After all, Caprice’s son was very fond of Flint.

Sylvia offered kindly, "It's fine, I'll look after the baby."

Aunt Tonya chimed in, "All of us are here, so it'll be fine. Let Flint drive you there. He doesn't have anything to do at home anyway."

"Alright, then.”

Isabel understood that her family was still very worried about her, so she gave in to their wishes. After saying goodbye to Caprice and Liam, she walked out of the house with Flint.

They approached Flint's car. It was a sports car that he had bought very recently.

Isabel burrowed into the passenger seat and promptly texted Carla that she was on the way and to wait for her at the set.

"Sis, did something happen at work?" Flint asked unprompted.

Isabel made a look before remarking nonchalantly, “Nothing.”

"Really?" He glanced at her suspiciously.

She shot a sideway glance at him.

Flint made a look and decided to stop probing, then he started the engine and began to drive. The set for “The Wonder" was in a recently-built district located on the outskirts of Westchester which was not very far from the Carters’ house.

Flint pulled into the parking lot of the location within half an hour's drive. His limited-edition supercar was rather eye-catching and successfully captured the attention of many passers-by, most of who were crew members of the show.

Isabel was not bothered about being stared at, and she told Flint to drop her off at the entrance. Meanwhile, another car pulled up right behind them.

It was Isabella. She took off her sunglasses to take a closer look at the bright red sports car parked in front.

Her assistant whispered to her, "Isn't this the brand-new limited-edition sports car released by BJD for the season? Whose car is this?"

BJD was a luxury sports car manufacturer.

The prestige of BJD combined with the limited nature of this particular model meant that it was a highly sought-after collectible. Even the wealthiest folks had trouble placing an order.

Isabella was curious about who the owner of this car could possibly be.

After her assistant opened the door for her, she promptly stepped out.

Coincidentally, Isabel had just stepped out of Flint's car as well.

The moment she turned around, she noticed Isabella strutting toward her.
