Chapter 14 

“Us? How can we lose?” 

Audrey smiled. “Let’s get started then.“” 

“Are you just going to sit and watch? These guys don’t know when to stop,” Christopher reminded Tyler when he saw that Tyler wasn’t making a move. 

If Christopher had kept his eyes on Tyler, he would have realized that Tyler’s face had turned cold when the guy said the loser would need to strip off their clothes. 

“Sometimes, knowing when to stop is quite hard,” Tyler said as he stood up and walked 

over. 

“Tyler, do you want to join in as well?” 

Tyler sat in an empty seat nearby. “You guys continue. I’m just watching the show.” 

The guys were a little nervous when they saw Tyler. When they heard what Tyler said, they immediately felt relieved. 

As soon as the game began, Audrey won three rounds in a row. 

“Audrey has won. Don’t you think it’s a little impolite for you guys to strip? How about you work on a new punishment?” Christopher asked as he was afraid someone was going to lose his temper tonight. 

*Mr. Foster, I don’t think your suggestion is appropriate. We’ve already decided that the loser strips.” 

Christopher raised his hand and slapped the guy who just spoke on the head. “Audrey is 

girl. You guys are taking advantage of her if you strip.” 

The guy wanted to say something else, but Audrey had beaten him to it. “It’s alright. Let him strip, but I have another request.” 

“What request?” 

“It’s boring for you to strip off your clothes. How about you take off your pants and walk around Dreamwood? That’s not too harsh, right?” 

With that said, everyone’s face changed. 

They didn’t care about taking off their pants, but going around Dreamwood was a little. bit over the top.

“Tyler?” The man was just about to curse the person who grabbed him. When he saw it was Tyler, he immediately swallowed the words he was about to say. 

Tyler walked forward and said coldly, “I was the one who brought her here. Don’t you think you should ask me before you touch her?” 

“But didn’t you want us to teach her a lesson just now?” The man tried to pull his hand back but was unsuccessful. 

Tyler’s l*ps curved a little. “What? When did I say I want you to teach her a lesson?” 

After saying that, Tyler squeezed the man’s arm harder. The man’s face immediately became twisted and he then shouted, “Ouch! It hurts!” 

“Tyler, that’s enough.” Christopher reached out and pressed Tyler’s hand. 

Tyler looked at Christopher and then let go of the man’s hand. 

They were on Christopher’s turf, so he didn’t want to make things difficult for Christopher. 

“Let’s go. Tyler turned around, picked Audrey up from the sofa, and walked outside. 

Audrey allowed Tyler to drag her out. 

Tyler only let go of her when they walked out of Dreamwood. Audrey felt that Tyler was emitting an even colder aura right now.

“Audrey, don’t you have a brain? Can’t you see what they’re trying to do?” Tyler began shouting before Audrey could finish her sentence. “They’re all ugly and chubby! What is there to see with their clothes off?”

“What? Do you want to see men strip off their clothes that badly? Do you want me to strip for you?” 

Audrey looked at Tyler, whose face had turned red from the shouting. She couldn’t help but laugh. “Tyler, you’re really childish, you know that?” 

Tyler’s anger immediately disappeared after seeing Audrey smile. 

He didn’t want to embarrass himself, so he kept a straight face and glared at her. 

Audrey understood why Tyler was so mad. She didn’t know why, but she was in a good mood. Even the words said by those guys in the private room didn’t affect her that much. 

Tyler had obviously brought Audrey to Dreamwood to piss her off. In the end, he was the one who was pissed off. This caused Audrey to be in an even better mood. 

She closed in on Tyler and tried to please him. “I found a new job today. How about I treat you to a meal?” 

Tyler was pissed at the moment, so he didn’t really think about what he said. “Of course, you need to thank me. If it weren’t for me…” 

The rest of the sentence was cut off when Tyler came back to his senses. 

“If it weren’t for you and then what?” 

Tyler turned around and walked toward the car. “Aren’t you going to treat me to a meal? What are you standing there for?” 

Audrey got into the car with Tyler. 

“What do you want to have?” Audrey turned and looked at Tyler. “I can’t treat you to a place like the Savory Bites.” 

Audrey thought about it and then asked, “Is it okay if I treat you to something I like?” 

“Whatever.” 

Audrey was a foodie. She knew all the places that served good food in Willowdale.

However, when she ran out of money, she couldn’t afford a lot of the expensive food, but some of the casual food could also be delicious. 

After the two of them finished eating, Tyler gave Audrey a lift back to the Griffin. family’s residence. 

On the way back, Audrey felt that the night wasn’t going to pass by very easily. 

Audrey only turned around and went into the house after Tyler had left. 

When she arrived at the door and was about to open it, the door was pushed open from the inside. 

She was then bombarded with a pile of clothes. Emma’s voice sounded from inside the house. “Since you don’t know your place and don’t care about the survival of the Griffin family, then you can forget about being a part of the Griffin family anymore.” 

With that said, a suitcase was left by Audrey’s side: “I wonder if the Russell family will accept you without the backing of the Griffin family.” 

Audrey couldn’t help but laugh when she heard those words. She raised her hand and removed the clothes on her head. It doesn’t make a difference if I had the Griffin family behind me or not. The Griffin family is already in a terrible state.” 

When Emma heard those words, she immediately became infuriated. “What did you just say? How could I have given birth to such a heartless bastard like you? I should have strangled you to death when you were born!” 

Audrey couldn’t be bothered to argue with Emma when she heard those words. She bent down and placed her clothes into the suitcase. “Suits me. I won’t have anything to do with you in the future then.” 

With that said, she turned on her heels and left the Griffin family. 

Audrey only took a deep breath after covering some distance. 

What made her feel funny was that she had nowhere to go after leaving the Griffin family. 

Looking at the cars passing by, Audrey sighed and went back to the hospital with the suitcase. 

When she arrived at the door of Barbara’s ward, the nurse was just leaving. She was a little surprised when she saw Audrey. “Miss Griffin, you…” 

“Shush.” Audrey reached out and pulled the nurse over. “Is my grandma asleep?” 

“She just fell asleep. She’s probably a little tired today.”
