Mark of the Assassin

When Aeria is exiled from her home country for the use of magic, she is sent to a completely foreign country where the use of magic isn't forbidden. Aeria is exiled from her home country for being born a mage and sent a school in a completely different country to continue her education. As she enters the city, she gets herself involved in something far more sinister than she could have imagined. Fortunately, she's got her new best friend, Peter, at her side no matter what, the only problem being is that it seems someone is trying to have Peter killed. With all the chaos that seems to constantly surround Aeria, it will be difficult for Peter and her to remain unscathed throughout the whole ordeal.
