“Well, she’s a wolf who can’t even shift. She doesn’t have a wolf yet. Ray is embarrassed because of her…. I’d be embarrassed too if I had a daughter who can’t shift. So he doesn’t talk about her much. I can understand that, the elder said. 

Micheal and Miles frowned. They were both very angry. They both did not think that Alexia was someone that they had to be ashamed of. 

Although she can’t shift, there’s a certain strength in her that just can’t be ignored. 

No matter what she’s been through, she’s always been able to hold on to her innocence and goodness.

But Ray pressured Alexia even though she was sick and made her get Kayla out of jail.

Miles and Michael looked at each other before their eyes focused on the elders. 

“What do you mean? Miles asked. 

“Well, you are now the Alphas. You can’t just stay without a mate. You need to find your new mate as soon as possible and make her your Luna” The elders said. 

Micheal and Miles gave each other a knowing look again. They didn’t want to tell the elders about Alexia yet because they know that the elders aren’t going to accept her just yet. But it seems that they don’t have a choice now. 

“Yes, you need to find your next mate and make her the Luna as soon as possible” 

“The thing is we already found our mate. We found her a long time ago” Micheal said. 

“What?! You found your mate? And you didn’t even think about telling us at all? What exactly is going on here? Why did you keep such an important news away from us?” 

“Yeah, we need to make her your Lama as soon as possible! Who’s she anyway? Is she some she wolf that we know? She’s from this pack right? 

“Actually..she is someone that you know” Miles said.

There was an awkward silence for a few minutes. Then the oldest elder Fred slammed his hand down on the table angrily. 

“What the is the meaning of this? What is going on here? Alexia isn’t that the sister of Kayla? The one you said can’t shift?! How come she’s your mate?! And you just accepted this? You just let this happen? How can such a she wolf be your mate?!” Fred asked. 

Miles shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly. “it’s not as if there’s anything we can do about it. It’s not as if we are the one who chooses our mates. It’s the moon goddess work. If you have a problem with it, you can go to the moon goddess” Miles said. He was really not bothered by this. He already knew from the first time he saw Alexia, that he won’t be rejecting her as his

The both of you are going to reject her as your mate and that’s the end of this conversation! I’m not going to have this conversation again! There’s no way that we can accept a wolf who can’t even shift as the Luna of our pack!” Elder Fred said. 

Michael rolled his eyes, not caring about the fact that this was disrespectful at all. 

“You can’t accept a she wolf who can’t shift yet but you are going to accept a she wolf who has a horrible heart and who can go any lengths to hurt her own sister just because she’s mad about something?” Micheal asked the elders as he looked at them with anger burning in his eyes. 

Ever since his father was alive, he already knew that the elders were just a bunch of snobs who thinks that they are better. than every other wolf in the pack. 

“At least Kayla can shift! She can help you in the pack! What can Alexia do for you? You are the one who will have to protect her for the rest of her life! What kind of a she wolf is that? What kind of Luna will she be? If she cares about you at all she will be the one to walk away! She can’t help you if she is the Luna! Seriously the both of you are supposed to be smarter than this! Elder Fred said. 

“She’s our Luna and we are not going to change her no matter what you say.” Miles and micheal said in unison.
