“I just want to explain myself. Did 1 do something wrong? 

Ray turned to Jenna and gave her a small smile. “Kayla is here to apologize to her sister. She wants to repair her relationship with her. She knows that she did something wrong. But the both of them are sisters after all. Kayla just wants to go back to being good sisters with Alexia, Ray said. 

Jenna rolled her eyes. “That is not what Kayla said. She’s only asked for Miles and Micheal and insinuated that Alexia lied against her and framed her up. Kayla is obviously not here to apologize at all. Why do you have to force her? You can just make sure that she doesn’t show up in front of Alexia ever again!” Jenna said. 

Kayla glared at Alexia who was sitting on the couch. She wanted to lash out at her but then her father grabbed her hand. 

Kayla remembered what her father had told her before they came here. Miles and Micheal had threatened him with her life. She can’t lose her temper here or else she’ll really end up dead. 

Besides, she hasn’t gotten her revenge yet. She can’t die yet. She needs to do all she can to get her revenge. 

Even if it means that she needs to pretend to be sorry right now. 

She looked at Alexia who was seated on the couch with hatred in her eyes. Then she sighed. For her future, she needs to make some sacrifices. 

“Dad is right. I’m here to apologize to you Alexia. I’m sorry for all I’ve done. I lost my temper and I did something crazy and stupid. I really should not have done that at all. I’m sorry. I hope we can go back to being sisters‘ kayla said. 

Jenna rolled her eyes. This apology is just so fake.

“I don’t think you are sorry at all. And you and Alexia have never had a good relationship with each other so I don’t really know why you are trying so hard to pretend.

Kayla glared at Alexia once again. Can’t Alexia speak for herself? She hasn’t said anything since she came here. It isn’t as if she’s dumb and Jenna can only talk for her?

But you don’t need to butt into our conversation at all. Can’t you just mind your own damn business?” Kayla asked. 

She was on the verge of losing her temper. It was already bad enough that she has to apologize. Why is Jenna making things worse for her? 

Jenna scoffed. ‘In case you don’t know, your sister is now the mate of my brothers. I’m going to do all that I can to protect her. I won’t let you hurt Alexia the way you did in the past! You won’t be getting your way anymore!” Jenna said. 

Just then, Alexia spoke up. She knows that she can’t keep hiding behind other people forever. She needs to stand up for herself and speak up at some point. 

“You want to talk to me? Fine. Lets talk then. What exactly are you sorry for Kayla? Is it the fact that you bullied me our entire lives because you think that you are better than me? Is it the fact that you made your friends pick on me in school every day? Or the fact that that day I was beaten up so badly I had no other choice than to end up in the hospital? I was also almost raped, thanks to you. Are you sorry for this?” Alexia asked.

The two of you should put this behind you and live together as sisters. That is all that I want. To see the both of you getting along as close sisters” Ray said. He needs to get Alexia to forgive Kayla completely. 

They need to go back to being sisters. 

“Dad, you keep saying that you want the both of us to get along but ever since you got here, you’ve just been talking about me forgiving her kayla doesn’t have to do anything besides giving me a half hearted apology? Is that it? All she has done can be forgiven just because of her half hearted apology?”

Ray bowed his head. He did not know what else to say. He knows that he hasn’t treated Alexia well at all these years and he felt bad for it but he really didn’t have a choice anymore. 

He has to do everything in his power to get Alexia to forgive Kayla. He really can’t watch as his favorite daughter spends the rest of her life hiding away from the Alphas. 

Because that’s what Miles and Micheal want. For her to hide. But he can’t watch that happen. 

He has to get Alexia to cooperate. 

“Alexia, I know that you are mad but please, Kayla is your sister. You care about your family the most right? Don’t let her spend the rest of her life feeling guilty. Just forgive her once and give her one more chance,” Ray said.
