Dress? Vase?” Axiel repeated. He had a dumbfounded look in his eyes as he tried to process what this woman had just called 

him. 

She just compared him to a dress and a vasel Axiel let out an angry snort. What was he expecting from her? That she’d suddenly change her mind about him?

If Acella gets mated to a guy like him, he would definitely be worried about her then. He won’t be able to rest easy with the thought that his sister will be spending the rest of her life with a playboy. 

Even though he had decided to stop, Miles and Michael definitely don’t know that. And even if they did, Axiel knows that just his words won’t be enough to comfort them. 

Jenna cursed under her breath when she heard this. She knows that Micheal and Miles don’t like Axiel but she never expected for them to get involved in her business like this. 

She grabbed Axiel’s arm. “You don’t need to go see them if you don’t want to. I don’t know what the hell is wrong with the both of them. I already told them that I can handle myself. What are they getting involved for?” Jenna asked. She was really pissed off. 

Axiel looked at Jenna’s hand that were holding his arms. It seems that she had done it subconsciously and she doesn’t even realize that she’s holding on to him now. 

He smiled but didn’t tell her that she’s holding on to him. “Don’t worry. I can handle this. I know that they are just worried about you. Besides, I don’t have the best reputation” Axiel said. 

But still..! I already told them that I can deal with this on my own! They should respect my privacy without getting involved! Jenna said. She was still holding on to Axiel’s arm. 

“Don’t worry. I totally understand. I have a sister too so I know what it’s like to an older brother Axiel said. He felt wistful 

when he thought of his sister Acella. She seems happy lately but that’s it. She’s still not talking to him at all. 

“Oh… Jenna did not know what to say after that. Since Axiel is okay with it then it doesn’t make sense for her to keep protesting 

She looked down and saw that she was still holding on to Axiel. She let go of his arm awkwardly. 

Axiel smirked confidently. “You don’t want to hold on to me anymore?” He asked. 

Jenna cleared her throat and changed the topic. “My brothers aren’t home. They are at the hospital right now” Jenna said 

Ever since Alexia was injured, they had made it a point of duty to show up there everyday. She was really glad to see them being so devoted but she hadn’t even met her sister in law to be. 

“Yeah, there’s someone in the hospital, their new mate. Something happened and she’s in the hospital” Jenna said simply. She didn’t want to explain any more. 

“Okay then. I guess I’ll go see them there” Axiel said. He just wanted to get the conversation with them done and over with. 

“Wait, I think I’ll go with you! I haven’t met Alexia yet. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet her, Jenna said. Besides, she can also keep an eye on her brother so they don’t give Axiel a hard time. 

“Alexia?” Axiel asked. 

“Yes, their new mate” Jenna answered simply. 

“Okay then. Let’s go Axiel said. He won’t give up the opportunity to spend some time with Jenna at all. 

Jenna and Axiel saw Miles and Micheal about to enter the hospital room when they arrived. 

The both of them had just come back from seeing Alexia’s doctor. 

“Miles, Micheal. I’m here to see Alexia. I haven’t seen her at all since the incident. I want to introduce myself” Jenna said. Even as she talked, she gave Miles and Micheal a glare. 

She was still mad that they are going behind her back to talk to Axiel. 

Miles and Micheal ignored Jenna. They were both glaring at Axiel. 

“I thought that you were the one we wanted to see. Why did you come with our sister? Are you planning on having her here as backup?” Miles asked. 

He really didn’t like Axiel at all. He felt like his sister was going to suffer if she stays with him.

Jenna did not let Axiel finish at all. 

“Miles! I already told you that I know what I’m doing. I told you that I can handle myself. 

Why did you have to go tell him to come see you? What are you trying to do?” Jenna asked. 

“What? We just wanted to talk to our brother in law? Is that too much?” Micheal asked with a shrug. 

“Do you think that I’m an idiot Micheal? Why will I believe that nonsense excuse? I can handle myself. I was the one who didn’t want to reject him as my mate. Don’t think that you’ll be able to change my mind by doing this!” Jenna said.

“Miles!” Jenna called out in exasperation. 

“Don’t worry about it Jenna. I can take care of it” Axiel patted Jenna’s shoulders. 

Miles looked at Jenna and Axiel and he scoffed. Didn’t Jenna say that she’ll never fall for him? 

From what he’s seeing, the both of them are already falling for each other. 

He should not have trusted her words at all!
