Chapter 53 

“Okay, that’s enough. You are going to end all thoughts of Axiel right here, right now. Don’t talk about him. At least for tonight. Let’s relax,” Bella said with a frown on her face. 

Nadia winked at her. “I’m sure that is something that I can live with,” she said.

The both of them continued to drink and chat about all kinds of stuff when someone walked up to their table. 

“Hi ladies,” the man said. 

Nadia looked up at the man who had just spoken and she felt her heart sink to her stomach. What is he…what is he doing 

here! 

What are you doing here?” Nadia snapped at him, going in to a defensive mood immediately. 

He flashed her a cocky grin. That grin of his that he uses to lit her entire body on fire! Damn! She was supposed to be mad that he showed up in front of her when she never wanted to see him again but all she could feel now were her legs going weak and heat gathering in the spot between her legs.

“Easy now babe. I don’t mean any harm. At least, I’m not as cruel as you. After having a good time, you just got up, and pull up your clothes, then leave without even leaving a note for me. Do you even know how worried I was? I had to find be sure that nothing happened to the woman who gave me one of the best heads ever!” He said crassly. 

Even though his words were crude to say, at least it still turned Nadia on to no ends. 

Bella gave Nadia a questioning look. She looked from Nadia to the man. Then she placed her hands on the table.

“Hey, can one of you please fill me in on what’s going on? What the hell is happening?” She asked. They were question marks on her face. 

Nadia sighed, looking for how to tell her the man in front of her is the one night stand she never wants to see again but the man beat her to it 

“I see that you didn’t even tell your friend about me. Were you hoping to completely abandon me without a word? I thought that you enjoyed  with me.What went wrong? Why do you want to get rid of me so badly?” He asked. 

Bella seemed to be getting the gist. She pointed at him and then at Nadia 

“Hey, don’t tell me that this is the super hot dude who gave you one of the best  of your life and whom you have no intentions of meeting again because he’s going to affect you chasing, Axiel?” Bella asked Nadia. 

She glared at Bella. Thanks a lot Bella, for keeping all of my secrets!” Nadia said sarcastically. 

Bella shot her a toothy grin. This woman….she really can’t stay mad at her no matter how much she pisses her off. 

He took a seat with a grin on his face. “Wow, now that I’ve heard this, I just can’t leave. I have to hear the end of this story! Oh, by the way, I’m Steve. I guess you didn’t give me your name because you never wanted me to find you right? I’m afraid to burst your bubble but something like that will never work on me,” He said. 

Steve? Nadia repeated the name over and over again in her head. She really likes it. 

Bella was still grinning happily. Obviously, she was loving this situation. 

“Wow, now we finally know his name. Thank goodness. She’s Nadia and I’m Bella!” Bella said. 

“Bella!” Nadia yelled at her. She’s really overdoing it at this point now. 

“Calm down. Nadia. The both of you already hit third base and you don’t even know each other’s name. Besides, he was such a gentleman and told us his name. He even looked for you even though you literally ran away after sleeping with him and left nothing. He is such a good guy. He at least deserves a name!” Bella said, 

She gives Bella a side eye because Nadia knows what she’s doing. She wants her to hook up with someone and then fall in love slowly so that she can forget about Axiel. But she knows that is impossible. She will never be able to give up her ambition of wanting to be Luna. She has to make sure that she’s the Luna of the pack at all costs. 

“So, who’s Axiel?” Steve asked. He had his eyes all over Nadia. And she knew that he was mentally undressing her with the look that he was giving to her right now. 

“Oh, just some dude she’s in a one–sided love with. Nothing important at all!” Bella said. Nadia knew she was still trying to set them up. Nadia was just grateful that she didn’t tell him who Axiel really is. 

Although the both of them have slept together and she has to admit that he’s really good at  , that doesn’t mean that she trusts him fully. Definitely not enough to tell him who Axiel is. 

She was staring right at him and so Nadia saw a strange look in his eyes when Axiel was mentioned. But then it was gone as soon as it came and then his goofy and silly smile was back on. 

That look in his eyes….was it jealousy or something else? She was counting more on jealousy though. 

“So this guy…he’s never going to fall for Nadia, so I don’t have to worry right?” Steve asked. 

Nadia rolled her eyes knowing that he is a veteran flirt. He can always pull lines out of his sleeves and make a woman feel as if those words were meant for you and you only. 

Although she knows that the words may not be exclusive to her, they still made her feel good about herself. 

“Well, Nadia here has been chasing him for so long and nothing has changed since, so the answer is yes. I can assure you that nothing is going to change between the both of them. You can definitely shoot your shot, Bella said and both of them laughed. 

“Bella,” Nadia called her in a warning manner. Bella rolled her eyes at her, not caring about the fact that she was warning her. She seemed to be having fun with whatever she is doing right now. 

“Come on Bella, don’t be so uptight. You know that I’m not lying. You’ve been trying for so long. What has come out of it besides you constantly getting disappointed? You need to get back in the game yourself!” Bella said to her. 

Someone like Steve, although he’s sweet, fun and all… he is just for having a good time. That’s all. They will ways once they are done having fun with each other. That was the plan from the beginning.
