Chapter 31 

In the doctor’s entire career, this is the first time where he has met a werewolf who has a dormant wolf. 

Miles and Micheal both lowered their heads as they thought about it. The fact that she has a wolf, although dormant, changes a lot of things. 

At least, they now know that it’s not completely impossible for her to shift. 

“What can we do about this? How can we make her wolf come back to life or something?” Micheal asked. 

“Her wolf needs a jolting. It needs something to wake it up. In most cases, when the werewolf finds her mate and she ends mating with her mate, her wolf comes back to life then. Maybe the both of you should try that?” The doctor suggested. 

Michael and Miles looked at each other and nodded their head. 

They were very happy to have Alexia as their mate now and not Kayla. 

And as for Kayla, they were both thinking the same thing now. The both of them want to make her suffer in the worst ways possible! She needs to learn a lesson so she knows that she just can’t go around hurting people the way she likes!

When Miles and Micheal got home later in the evening, they were immediately informed by the guards that Beta Ray had 

come to see them. 

Miles and Micheal shared a glance. As twin alphas, they both shared some kind of telepathy between them. 

With just a look, they could tell just what the other party was thinking. 

They both knew immediately that Beta Ray had come to see them for the sake of his daughter. 

However, he is clearly here for the sake of one daughter. 

“Do you think that we should see him? Why don’t we keep him waiting? When he’s tired of waiting, he will know that we don’t want to see him and he will leave on his own” Micheal whispered to Miles. He has always had a mischievous side to him. 

Miles shook his head. He didn’t think that it was a good idea at all. “There’s no need to go so far with him. Besides, he’s still Alexia’s father and the former beta. We will need to see him sooner or later. Why put him off when we’ll have to deal with him at some point? Better to let him know that he won’t be able to get anything out of us than to keep it dragging on for 

gout infinity” Miles said. 

Micheal nodded his head. He realized that Miles is right. “Alright, But I’ve been out all day, I need to go take a bath before I can see anyone” Micheal said. 

Miles nodded his head. “Of course. Meanwhile, you can take your time with the bath. I’m sure that beta Ray won’t mind at all!” Miles said.There was a wicked look in his eyes. 

Micheal got the message loud and clear. He burst out laughing. Miles is seriously more wicked than be ever will be! 

When Miles and Micheal went to the hall that Ray was waiting in, it was already two hours after they got back. They really decided to make Ray wait. 

It was their way of showing Ray who’s in charge here. So that he doesn’t start throwing his weight around. 

“Your Highnesses” Ray immediately greeted them as Miles and Micheal walked in. 

He was upset that they had him waiting for so long but he didn’t have a choice. Kayla is still in the dungeon. 

Even if Kayla can’t become the Luna, Ray felt that it was fine. He will just have to find her someone that is powerful to get mated to again. 

But won’t her life be completely over if Miles and Micheal continue to keep her in the dungeon. 

Miles and Micheal both sat down facing Ray. 

“To what do we owe this visit Beta Ray? We’ve been busy all day long and now we finally got back home with the intention to rest but we are told that you’re looking for us. What for?” Miles was the first person who spoke. 

Ray chuckled nervously. He felt a lot of pressure from the alphas and he really didn’t want to be here right now. He just wanted to turn and make a run for it. But he has been left with no choice. He has to do all that he can to protect his daughter from harm. 

“Well, it’s…it’s this. Kayla told me that the both of you had rejected her as your mate. I know that she must have done something wrong to warrant this and I’m not here because of that. I got the news a few hours ago that she’s been locked up in the underground dungeon with a couple of friends. I just want you guys to release her. I know that she can be strong headed some times but that is because she’s been spoiled by me. Rejecting her as your mate is enough. You don’t need to lock her up right? Ray asked. 

Ray still did not know the reason why Kayla was locked up. However, it was hard to know if he will care about Kayla if he knows the truth. 

“So you 

think that we threw Kayla in prison just because we rejected her as our mate?! Your daughter is not who she lias been pretending to be! She’s a pathological liar and rejecting her as our mate is already enough for us! Why do we need to throw her in the dungeon just because we rejected her? Are you trying to accuse us of abusing our power?” Micheal asked. He usually looks goofy but he can be really dangerous if he gets angry. 

Ray immediately shook his head. “No, no, that’s not what I meant at all! I just think that there can be some kind of misunderstanding here. Maybe Kayla did something that she should not have done. But throwing her in the dungeon is not the only way right? No matter what, she used to be your mate and she almost became Luna, 

Can’t you just forgive her?” Ray asked. 

Micheal really didn’t know what to do when he heard that. He was so angry that his chest hurt. How can Ray be so biased to his daughters? 

He doesn’t even care about what happened to Alexia on the other hand, he could not wait to get Kayla out of jail by making up all kinds of excuses about her. What kind of a father is he? 

“Yes, Kayla did do something wrong. Something that she should not just be thrown into jail for, but executed for!” Miles said. Although he is a lot calmer, there was danger brewing underneath his calmness. 

He can see why Kayla is so brazen in doing whatever she wants. This is the reason why she doesn’t care for people and just about whatever she wants to everyone else, Including her sister. Because her father is a biased beta. 

Ray’s heart sank to his stomach when he heard “executed.” 

“What could she have done to warrant this?” Ray asked. 

She almost had your younger daughter raped!”
