I felt super stupid. Super extremely stupid.

“You realized something didn’t you?” Marx chased after me.

“I might have passed it onto her.” I said.

“Mother fucker it aint no STD,” Marx said.

“Ugh you normies don’t know how time travel works,” I said.

I remember that Olga had said to trust Sheamus, so once we were inside that was the first place I went to. I knocked on the door to the Chronoton management chamber. Sheamus soon appeared at the door. He looked at me and looked at Marx.

“Took you long enough,” Sheamus said.

Marx and I looked at each other confused.

“I suppose yer here to ask me about the anomaly that is going on with you,” Sheamus said pointing at me.

“Wait how the hell do you know?” I asked.

“Olga came to find me yesterday,” Sheamus said as he let us come in.

“Oh, thank the gods,” I said

“Speaking of which, where is she?” Sheamus asked looking around.

“I don’t know,” I said.

“Vinny’s dumb ass thinks he might have spread it to her like some STD.” Marx said laughing. Then he must have noticed Sheamus looking at him oddly. “Wait can you really spread that to someone else by having sex with them?”

“Who’s the normie?” Sheamus said pointing at Marx.

“An old friend of mine,” I said. “He came here to investigate the monkey girl and whether she is a Project Rho experiment.”

“You seriously couldn’t keep it in your pants?” Sheamus asked.

“Hey at that moment I wasn’t thinking about that!” I said. “Besides we both thought we had handed it since she went back to before I had gone in the damn portal to begin with.”

“That’s not how it works,” Sheamus said. “And you know that, more importantly she knows that…how the hell did you manage to have sex with her?”

“You didn’t like rape her, did you?” Marx said.

“That would make sense,” Sheamus said and they both nodded.

“I’m insulted,” I said irate at the allegation. “It was mutual.”

“Uh huh…” they both said.

“Why don’t you believe me?” I asked.

“You are a notorious playboy,” Sheamus said and Marx nodded. “I even told Olga, to not herself get fooled by whatever façade you were trying to pull. I guess that you managed to pull wool over her eyes and now she’s missing.”

“How the hell did he spread it to her though?” Marx said.

“Chronoton particles can spread to others through exchange of fluids.” Sheamus sighed deeply. “And your dumb ass knows that.”

“Hey, I’ve never experienced it before I kind of forgot about it.” I said.

“I don’t believe that Olga would have willingly had allowed you to do that she knew the consequences.” Sheamus said.

“You still think I raped her?” I said.

“She knows the consequences,” Sheamus said.

“I didn’t freaking rape her alright,” I said.

“Uh huh…” Sheamus said.

“How many times would he have to do that to spread the Chronoton particles to her?” Marx asked.

“One is pushing it, two is probably not enough. I would have to say probably four times or more.” Sheamus said.

“You, sick fuck.” Marx said looking at me.

“What the shit Marxus, I wouldn’t rape a girl once let alone fucking four times.” I said, and Marx looked at me skeptically. That was when I realized that my notorious playboy attitude had finally caught up to me.

“Whatever, we’ll decide to press charges on you once we hear from her.” Sheamus said as he walked over to his Chronoton Observer. I think that’s what it was called.

It was like a TV but bigger than that, and I knew it wasn’t a TV this thing was showing live feed of different timelines, different operation in place. There were small screens on this massive UHD display. It was about 10 feet tall, each screen was probably only a few inches across, but you can tell in detail what was going on in each one.

“Did she tell you anything that could be of relevance?” Sheamus asked looking at the different screens. I was starting to think of things that she had mentioned to me.

“Did she really get stuck in a time loop?” I asked Sheamus.

“Six years ago, you mean?” Sheamus asked looking at me.

“I remember her saying something about that, and you knew about it.” I said. Sheamus looked over at the screens again scanning them. “You know something don’t you?”

“Did she happen to tell you how that happened?” Sheamus said.

“No, she said she was a rookie back then and she was stupid.” I said.

“She’s a bright girl,” Sheamus said. “Well bright enough that I’d never thought that she would sleep with you. So, I don’t accept that stupid claim.”

“Again, with that?” I sighed.

I decided that if there was such a thing as a next life-time. I was going to come back as a stoic girl, that way no one could accuse me for being someone who could not keep it in their pants as I’ve been now notorious for. In my defense, Olga was only the third girl I had intentionally slept with. Not withstanding those time jumps.

Those time jumps where I was with one of the other girls, Paula and Beth, were still looming in my mind. I tried my best to not really think about it.

“I think you should stop harassing me and look for Olga,” I said.

“It’s your damn fault she’s missing,” Marx pointed out.

“Fine, I got it!” I said irritated.

Sheamus was looking over the different readings. I didn’t get this whole thing I knew what he was looking for, but if I needed to explain it to someone else, there was no way I could do it.

“So, what are you looking for exactly?” Marx asked.

“Changes in the Chronoton field,” Sheamus said.

“The what field?” Marx said.

“Think of them like time atoms,” I said.

“You mean like electrons and stuff?” Marx asked.

“Yeah, but time has these faster than light particles that we have called Chronotons.” I explained. “This gizmo here, regulates the amount of Chronotons per era. Each era should have a certain amount of Chronotons per that era.”

“So, if there are any weird changes in the Chronton particles then you know there is someone messing with the flow of time?” Marx asked.

“That’s the basics of it,” I said.

“Any weird changes then?” Marx asked.

“None yet,” Sheamus said. “The fact that we still remember her at least means no one has messed with her.”

“Hey…” I said thinking about something suddenly. “What if that time loop she talked about…what if it actually started now?”

“The hell are you talking about?” Marx said.

“I mean what if that time loop she was stuck in…what if it started now?” I asked. Sheamus looked at me for a while as if digesting what I had said. Marx, on the other hand started making that he’s crazy motion. “I’m not crazy Marx.”

“As stupid as he looks, he sometimes thinks of stuff outside of the box,” Sheamus said. He must have churned the idea in his mind enough that he managed to see what I was saying could be true.

“You mean to tell me that, that time loop she told you she was in 6 years ago or whatever it was actually started now?” Marx said confused.

“That can be the case,” Sheamus said.

“How?” Marx said.

“You normies…” Sheamus huffed.

“Care to explain?” Marx asked.

“It’s hard to do that,” I said.
