"Alright, Grandpa,"

Sigmund said firmly, "Hand Sienna over to me. I'll make her kneel before Bonnie and slap herself a thousand times. With each slap, she must say, 'I was wrong and deserve to be punished."" Leo's eyes nearly popped out in rage at hearing this.

"Old man, how dare you humiliate my granddaughter like this?! You used to be reasonable. It's clear that Bonnie was wrong in this matter, yet you're protecting her and humiliating Sienna. This is intolerable!" "You're unwilling? Fine, listen up. The Knight family will cut off all ties with the McLeods!"

"What? Y-You're willing to ruin the relationship between our families for an outsider? You're taking things too far!"

Leo couldn't believe that Sigmund would say such words.

"Not only that, our two families will be enemies from now on. We won't rest until your granddaughter publicly apologizes to Bonnie!"

Leo was stunned, and so were the members of the McLeod family present.

Roy McLeod, Leo's brother, stepped out of the crowd.

"Leo, please calm down. Don't make such a big deal of this matter involving the younger generation. As I see it, there's no evidence to determine who's right or wrong. Both sides of the younger generation have their own stories, but no concrete evidence."

"Yeah, what Roy said makes sense," Theo, their other brother, chimed in.

"We should calm down and investigate the truth ourselves. Once we find out, the one who's wrong should apologize. How about that?"

Leo wore an ugly expression.

Naturally, he believed in his

granddaughter, but there was no evidence. Besides, their two families had been close for generations. It would be absurd if they made big fuss over a matter between youths.

a

"They're right, Sigmund. This was just a minor quarrel. There's no need to make it so serious. Why don't we each investigate and find evidence—" Sigmund abruptly cut off Leo's words.

"No need for evidence! This matter is entirely Sienna's fault! Bonnie is my granddaughter-in-law. I know what kind of person she is. Sienna may be a talented woman in your eyes, but she's nothing compared to Bonnie!

"Why would Bonnie actively seek trouble from your granddaughter? She doesn't have the time for that!"

The McLeod family was furious, especially Sienna. She would argue with Sigmund, if not for his status. He dared to describe Sienna as nothing compared to Bonnie!

Leo felt out of breath. He did not expect Sigmund to say such things.

'Wait a minute!' Leo's face went blank as he realized something. "What did you just say? Granddaughter-in-law? Bonnie?"

This question also stunned Sienna.

"That's right, Bonnie is the fiancee I arranged for Ivor! So, do you still think she stole your granddaughter's boyfriend?"

Leo looked at Sienna again. "What's going on?"

He didn't think Sigmund would joke about such things, so Bonnie must be Ivor's fiancée. Then how could Bonnie be jealous of Orpheus and secretly plot against his granddaughter?

Sienna suddenly realized something.

"I now know why a rural woman like Bonnie knows Orpheus. It's because of her relationship with Ivor. Bonnie must've thought that since Ivo

wasn't interested in her, she

seduced Orpheus instead."
