The child they lost years ago remained Jennifer's sorrow, and seeing her grieve was Maddox's burden, too.
"How far along?" Maddox asked.
"Five months," Leanne answered.
Five months, and it was about the same time when they lost their child. Jennifer was six months pregnant then, and the baby was already taking shape.
