As Curtis was about to leave, Suzan called out to him.
“Curtis, could you stay with me for a bit?” There was a hint of pleading in her voice.

From her childhood, her parents urged her to cultivate a relationship with Curtis to seize him.
During high school, Curtis’ girlfriends changed frequently. Suzan, too proud to stoop, refused to be lumped with those superficial and materialistic girls.
